Btw, Tom Pope, bigger stronger better striker than Max, never got a kick or sniff at goal all game. So not defending Max happens to the best of them in this division.
I agree with the majority of comments recently on here, I’m afraid the we were totally carrying him at Port Vale,
He needs to be taken out the limelight now, MR will make the right decision just one too many games for him vs Vale. He’s ok when he olds it up, wins headers, etc and when the result is positive.
I have been one of his biggest backers as I thought(hoped) the kid would come good.
But as we now approach the business end of the of the season, we cannot afford to carry anyone and need to improve drastically in one or two positions and need someone to hold it up and keep the ball up front.
I do hope when/if he finally scores Robins doesn’t give it the typical manager I told you so as he will look like a tit.
This is where I am with him. I've been ridiculed by mates for how much I've backed him, but as peope seem to be saying his appearances are improving, I don't see it, and think he's actually offering less.
His confidence seems very low at the minute, every time he misses a sitter (and there have been a few lately) his head drops and he's doesnt get himself involved in any of the action afterwards for a while.
Personally think he needs resting, for his own sake, as much as the teams. However, it can't be argued that Mcnulty looks more dangerous when alongside him, than he has partnered with anyone else.
As for the rumours of him leaving in Jan. I can't understand who would want him in L2, and I cant imagine he would want to drop down a level so soon after making the step up to Full-time football
He was getting better and having a lot of input into games, the last 2 he hasn't had a sniff though so I don't agree with those. There have been games he has won everything in the air and won tackles from the front etc. We did get worse after he went off at Port Vale, but we never looked like scoring either.
I agree, but for me he's been getting progressively less effective, and beginning to look very leggy. Instead of the tackles he was winning from the front, he's now giving away silly niggly fouls, and inviting pressure on to us.
Not for every single game of the season it dosnt!Btw, Tom Pope, bigger stronger better striker than Max, never got a kick or sniff at goal all game. So not defending Max happens to the best of them in this division.
Ponticelli isn't ready yet but looks far more purposeful. No one in league 2 would look look at Biamou twice.. However, it can't be argued that Mcnulty looks more dangerous when alongside him, than he has partnered with anyone else.

This is probably really over-thinking things and way off the mark but:
Note the sutton manager's tweet, that reads about signing a former player / somebody he has worked with.
Dos has got his men! | Amber Planet

We would then thought need two strikers in. Massive ask, as everyone is looking for a potential 20 goal a season striker.
With another bloke who has scored none, yeah, sure.Easier to replace a bloke who has scored none though

Isn't he too oldWill be interesting to see if he is at the JSB party.
Hence why I don't mind Biamou.I thought it was all about assists and work rate not goals

Lets hope our so called fans can now get off his back. he was immense today.Stoke fans applauded Biamou at the end. Sad that some of their fans can appreciate our players more than some of our fans can.
have you seen him play much ?Lets hope our so called fans can now get off his back. he was immense today.
What utter bollox!Clueless fans who can’t see what Biamou offers us upfront.
As long as he contribution is like that and we win. I don’t care if he never scores another goal again.!
Superb.
He put a shift in today.
But one swallow does not a summer make!

Maybe Biamou is more suited to Premiership football than L2?
