Often have a lot more disposable income?

But what about those who don't have? What about those that don't have that spare income and can no longer obtain work because of their age?

I'm sure there are many who do have a lot of disposable income, but then there are a great deal who don't.

The only way anything like that could work is if it is means tested, otherwise you could push some of the less well off over 60's into poverty.

Well I will be definitely retired next year. I’m not available for concessions for a few years yet but it is a pretty silly rule when you think about it. I’ll claim what I can get (I’ve paid a gut load of tax) but my net income after tax in retirement will be around £3,000 a month - it should be means tested and the state pension removed for those on higher earnings.

Oh no, I'm going to have to borrow someone's season ticket to save the extra £2, otherwise I can't afford to go

How come some of the "bandwagon" turned up on Saturday, Stoke aren't top 6 ?

Its like we don't want fans watching our games sometimes !

A few thousand extra is disappointing.

The crowd in general Saturday was disappointing in numbers.

I wonder how much it'll be on the train on the day ? Last time I went it was reasonable, but rail prices have risen ?
Just booked the train it was £11 return with Senior Railcard.
Just the match tickets now.

Yeovil have increased their prices to more than their league prices for the Man United Cup game. I get that it's supply and demand, our fans would be crying if we did that though.

I guess if we sell out. They might give us more. Looking at the restrictions for home end tickets

"

Address ID will be required if purchasing over the counter, if not already registered. If buying online or over the phone, the card MUST be registered at the address given. If the address does not match the card the transaction will decline. Tickets can only be posted to the address of the card holder.

General away tickets will only be sold via Coventry City. The Club will have no tickets available for away supporters at the Box Office. This includes all disabled supporters.

The above restrictions will apply on matchday. Away tickets will NOT be available on the day."

Might need a ST holder to get 3 tickets for me as I doubt any will be left for general sale on the 22nd.

I think you will be OK, I think they will give us extra tickets in the top tier if required, but if you are worried you could always purchase a membership (if they are still available)

I suppose their fans are happy with it then?

I wouldn't have a problem with it if they charged ST holders and people who have attended at least half a dozen games an average of what they have paid.
Charge the Manc supporters and hangerones double.;)

I actually helped out a couple of others for that one mate. A relative managed to get quite a few tickets and I had two spare so sold them to a guy from on here.
