Just Reading up on the challenge yesterday. Seems Rondon was inconsolable after what was a nasty accident

Seen the clip of him having to run to the ref to stop play! What was the ref thinking??

Reminded me of Safri breaking Colin Healy’s leg V Sunderland. If I recall correctly that too was an accident, but came across this post just by chance on a Sunderland forum.

That Sunderland game was live on Sky. At half time I was walking along the front of the East Stand when the cameras came to the side of the pitch to interview fans. A group of fans surged forwards to get on tele which meant one or two fans including myself got trampled on and crushed. After Healy robbed my ambulance I ended up being in the bed next to him in hospital (Cov and Warwick I think). I didn’t see a single visitor from Sunderland during his time there. However Andy Harvey spent hours there and he was also visited by Safri and a few others from our club. That speaks volumes.
