We don't know (and never will) what restrictions he had on buying and selling players.
He no doubt is a good manager but perhaps not at this level ?

Behave Italia. Every manager we’ve had since the late 90s has had restrictions. Mowbray got the recruitment policy all wrong for us. All wrong.

Shame I was looking forward to their protest they were planning that I read on their forum before the sacking next Saturday turning up late for kick off.....

I think we're going to turnover MK next Saturday. Massive SBA following against (hopefully) a managerless team. The team should be licking their lips at this one because we have nothing to lose, being the away team to a team a league above us.

Thats exactly what i said. From what i can find out looks like he worked with their youth set up before so must be some connection.
Former England U16 coach. Assistant academy coach at MK currently I think.

No, he wasnt working with MK Dons. Recently working at Portsmouth.

"Our priority is to make sure we can bring some confidence and belief back to this squad so we can begin climbing that league table.

As a team we want to entertain and we want to be an attacking, creative and expressive football team. We also want to be tactically disciplined and be clinical in both boxes. We've got good footballers here and it's our job to bring that talent out over the coming weeks."

Doesnt sound like he thinks it will be a quick fix. They will get the new manager bounce though, and all be playing for their futures. It does look like they want to play football though, and they are the teams we do best against. It's the ones that park the bus we havent got the creativity to beat.
