If we make the championship (despite SISU owning us) Willis will still be good enough to make our team. McNulty won't.

Need McNulty the get there tho initially like you say Willis to help us stay there.

Both important in different aspects.

All to easy to overlook today for next week

Which is where the debate on Willis originates from. I raised the point in the summer, should we sell him to fund a bid for James Collins. It's relevant again this window

If you was MR and a offer came in would you sacrifice Jordan Willis for 600/700k to bolster the attack for the final push to get out of league two or chance your arm on a solid defensive unit but reliant on McNulty staying fit and keeping up his goals.
To be honest I think the club should at last show ambition and not enforce the sale of key defenders when we are this close to promotion

I agree, my suggestion wasn't a enforced one more a managerial decision on what could be done if targets were lined up to improve the overall squad

3) Willis

Genuinly think we wouldnt be doing as well as we are in the league and cup without big max up top giving McNulty space.

How is our win ratio no worse when he hadn’t played then?

Win ratio is much worse when he hasn't played. 28 league and 8 cup games in total so far this season this season. 19 starts and 3 goals:

* 57.89% vs 47.06% win ratio when he's started vs sub/not involved (all comps).
* 52.17% when he's either started or come on as sub vs 40% without him (league only)
* 58.62% win ratio vs 28.57% without him (all comps and all appearances)

Impressive. Shows his value to the team. Just imagine those stats if he continues scoring

There's no point in doing it, he either moves the goalposts or pretends he hasn't seen it. Hes wrong often and I cant remember ever seeing him graciously admit he was wrong.

Anyway my three;

1)Willis
2)Mcnulty
3)Jones (when fit)

We therefore average 1.8 points a game without him and 1.65 with him in the league.

You're right about Grendel and goalposts ..just seen he has done it again..win ratio has been moved to points per game :shamefullyembarrased::shamefullyembarrased:

You should be a politician with those stats....

Come on, you are.
Shifting from win ratio to PPG .

Well no as it’s quite a clever way of showing stats but missing one permutation....
