If we survive you would have to say he deserves to be kept on ...... because he will have led the club to that against the odds. But loyalty and sympathy count for little in football as we all know. Still not convinced by him personally but thats just my opinion

Its a difficult one, personally i'd say keep him atm. The one issue i've had with him is his choice of substitutions or lack of decision making during a game, i actually said 'why has he not made a sub' last night- so he got that one right and made me look a little foolish 
. Another issue i have, is that- though our players have come under some criticism that they're not up to scratch. But looking at other sides around us in the table and even further up the league our team on paper looks better. So i sometimes question whether Thorn is getting the most out of his players. But i have belief in him that we will start to turn it around. And the Ricoh is becoming a fortress! PUSB!

I would say yes. The players play for him, the football is the best we've had for ages. He just needs support from SISU to bring in more players. I think if he could get an experienced squad then we would do well under him.

If we maintain the same average points-per-game and see the same lack of tactical nous as we have most of the season, but survive due to a couple of administrations (for example), then no, he ought to be relieved of his duties at the end of the season.
If he genuinely turns things around with more better, more consistent performances, and ups the points-per-game average significantly, then he'll have earned the right to stay on at the start of the season.

Not so sure.
None of us expected us to be 7 points adrift at the bottom by Christmas. We have pretty much been bottom since.
I'm with Mustard. If we have a sudden upsurge in our fortunes and survive then maybe he should be given more time. Thorn however shouldn't benefit on a achievement level from Portsmouth being docked points.

my answer , a irrefutable No.
Everyone can change there mind , its legal to do so, on this and some on here change weekly on this topic, normally after a win, but i have always thought we can do better.
Tactically poor, apart from last night apparently, and his tactics for most of the season have been too rigid and unadaptable, for the players he has to work with.If he had better players the diamond may work, but with what we've got it clearly does'nt work week in week out
Man management is poor and he can be to stubborn, and in the case with Harrison i feel he's lacked the courage to sack the useless bugger.
He comes across as a nice person, but when hearing him speak he can be incoherent and difficult to understand, could be a problem he has in his relationship with the players.
If fourth from bottom,I hope so this season, is good enough for people that is up to them , but if the manager himself thinks we should be a lot higher with the team he has, surely theres the biggest problem of all
His talent lies in scouting and i would keep him as chief scout.

I think it will be a miracle if we stay up, even if Portsmouth get a 10 point deduction.
As for AT, I'm undecided. He's had to work with the knowledge that our better players will be sold and there is no chance of getting anyone decent coz there is no money to spend. I know it's not possible but it would be great to see how he gets on at a 'normal' club. We all know what will happen though, we'll go down and the first head on the block will be AT's, that's the nature of football.

I personally would have liked to have seen Ruffles come on perhaps for baker, has an excellent cross on him and thought it may have been an asset for the closing of the game. However like i said he didn't make a sub, and it worked out for us and fair play to AT for that decision. But again at the time i thought maybe some fresh legs or something different may have been beneficial.

There have been strong rumours of Thorn puttting some players noses out of joint , (i don't know if thats a saying, so i might have made that up) earlier this season.
Has he handled Cody well, some say yes, some like me say No.
When Bigi made a mistake earlier he lambasted the poor fecker in the press/media, this a youngster just starting out.
He has his favourites, like Bell & Baker ,when my 96 year old nan would do better.

I think we are very lucky to have hime. He lost 5 of the best players in this division in one season and had to replace them with kids. I think really we should be relegated by now. Instead we are playing great football and still in with a shout. I think we would be crazy to lose him.
