I'm sure, if this rumour is true, Robins will know about attitude and stuff. I trust he'll sort any issues.

He was 16 as well so people do sometimes grow out of it

The below suggests that we have won the race for JCH, Chesterfield would only allow Dennis to leave if JCH went to Chesterfield..

Sky Sports News understands Chesterfield have pulled out of negotiations with Bradford over the sale of striker Kristian Dennis and he is expected to remain a Spireite until at least the summer.

We're in division 4 ffs. Man City have been searching for a keeper with good distribution for years and they finally found one, only cost them £35m though.

Any keeper at this level is going to have weaknesses, and of all the weaknesses possible in a keeper I'm ok with Burge having poor distribution.

You've just said yourself his shot stopping is good, which is more than can be said for some keepers in this league.

It's not poor it's horrendous.

Did he? Scored took his top off and slid on he knees, that's pretty much his celebration. The knee slide that is.

Fast forward to 1.00 minute

Yea I’ve seen it, seems an over celebration to me. Pelts it over ripping his shirt off with the knee slide and outstretched arms. Probably realises he looks a bit of a tosser when he looks around and sees his teammates aren’t as excited as he is

I disagree with you. Burge has been very good this season. Doubt very much you'd find a keeper who doesn't make the odd mistake at this level. Even Murphy made 3 or 4 a season which are forgotten for convenience.
Did you see his kicking last night?? It was terrible.
How a professional footballer in this day and age cannot kick a ball properly is beyond me!!

It only seems to be when he has the ball played back to him and he kicks it first time. If he takes a touch or from a dead ball he's not quite as bad. Made me tense up every time the ball was played back to him last night.

I get the impression your not keen on the signing?

The celebration means nothing to me, players did it week in week out.

Did you see Petr Cech's mistake last night? A Premier league goalkeeper on £100k a week and 124 International caps.

But yeah that guy in league Two is rubbish because he kicks a few balls out of play every week.

He'd done very well with our youth teams, so I expect he was gutted when he wasn't given a contract by Andy Thorn. Seems the natural way to celebrate in those circumstances. Especially if there were unproved stories going around about bad behaviour on his part at the time.

Several balls every game. Could have easily given a goal away on Tuesday

Norwich have stated that their will be no players leaving or incoming in the remaining hours of the window - that suggests they’ve kept hold of Maddison..

For the benefit of those who haven't seen the Cech mistake last night that I mentioned:

Keepers make mistakes. More so at our level. People seem to forget that.

It's the other end of the pitch we need to worry about.

Good news if true, if he carries on playing the way he is they'll get 20m+ in the summer and we then have a decent budget going into next season.

I think people are quick to forget to saves he pulls off. A couple of to draw saves the other week at Swindon jumps to mind
goalkeepers make saves.
But ive never seen a keeper whos kicking is as bad as his. Especially kicking under no pressure.
I don't expect him to be like Manaul Nueur...but it is truly pitiful his kicking and distribution or lack of.

Disagree. His kicking at times put us under pressure, but I think if we concede from that, you’d have to blame the outfielders if anything came of it. Nothing really came of any of his miskicks nor were they in dangerous positions.

Contrast that with Cambridge’s GK, who got tackled by McNulty because he was trying to be a smart arse on the ball...
