A crunching tackle on one of their players in the first few minutes wouldn't go a miss, get the crowd worked up. :)

People laugh when I say that, but next time theres a few handbags between players watch how excited and how behind our players they get!

I think we need to win and it really it a crunch game for us. On a separate note as there will be a lot of people there the players need to win and win in style. Get the stayaways excited and wanting to come back to the Ricoh.
Exactly, Torch. Echoes my sentiments exactly.

I think we need to pick the players who are fit and not pick the players who are not fit.

I was laughing aloud at this as it should be fucking obvious but these last few games we’ve played crocks who should’ve never been on the pitch.

Robins definitely needs to consider the long haul-may well be a reason we’ve been having injuries-players playing when they shouldn’t be!

Vital match now this ! Fairly useful outfit this lot. Lets hope that the big crowd doesn't inspire them !

Have to win this before we embark on a whole month of away games.

If Kelly starts with Doyle then I will be annoyed.

We lost our free flowing nature going forward once Bayliss was shifted and Shipley out of the team.

Also the set pieces last weekend were just awful. At least Shipley can deliver a good corner or free kick.

don't say that, it means you want Robins sacked.

Their goal against us at their place totally opened us up as well which is a bit worrying as we have injuries to first choice defenders too.:(

Its a shame the big crowd wasn't in one of our last two games, Swindon and Cambridge were both really entertaining games.

Yea but the season ticket holders who go to Cambridge on a Tuesday night should have more priority to the good games than the ones that only turn up for the big games - they don't deserve as good a game!

Sorry wrong thread!

Win and we could be 2 points off the automatic places, not sure I want to think of the alternatives..

We have an incredibly hard sequence of games coming up, playing 9 of the current top 12 between now and the final game against Morecambe, but we also have a game in hand to play, albeit against Luton, which will stand us in good stead with the sides directly above us..

25,000+ (expected to be around 27,000 - 28,000 on the day) it should be a great atmosphere..

My team would be; O'Brien, Willis, Hyam, McDonald, Haynes, Shipley, Bayliss, Doyle, Reid, McNulty, Clarke-Harris..

Burge has looked shaky the last few games, therefore I'd given O'Brien the gloves, Stokes, Grimmer and Davies all likely to miss the game through injury..

Give Reid and JCH the opportunity from the start, they both scored on Monday, time for them to show that they can do it now, when it counts most!

I do think Clarke-Harris will be in. We need to give him the service though otherwise it's pointless.

I think this is where Shipley and Reid will be useful, getting ball into the boxes and providing width, where as Barrett likes to cut inside.

Shipley will also be useful from set pieces and Reid is probably the quickest available wide man there is in our squad.

Either Shipley or Reid would have to cut inside though as they both only have a left foot.

Hopefully Kelly gets dropped. Can't have him and Doyle together in centre midfield. Too defensive and no creativity from there whatsoever. It's no coincidence that our good form was when Kelly was out injured. Bayliss back in the middle to offer a bit of drive and creativity.

Barrats set pieces were woefull on Saturday.

No one is predicting hes in the starting line up which is interesting.

Hate to say it but Accrington seem on a roll (one we badly want) and it may be a result we do not want!

I think the crowd might just carry us home, especially if we can take the lead. Go a goal down and it could very quickly turn into a flat atmosphere however.

As for the team tomorrow, I really do hope we don't go for the Doyle/Kelly combination again.

I am sort of confident, but really need to see the lineup before I am totally convinced.

Will it be DiKE and Haynes? Will Bayliss be shifted back to the middle? Will Reid get a look in? Will JCH get his first start? Will we persist with Barrett? Will JMD come back into the fold?

I think most weeks we can pretty much guesstimate the lineup quite accurately, but do feel tomorrow is more up in the air, both in terms of selection and tactics.

Could tell he was trying a bit too hard to impress. I do think there's a player in there and it's unfair to write anyone off after minimal appearances.

Admittedly the boy needs to lose a pound or three.

he showed some ability but the problem is it's going to take him weeks to get fit by which time the season will be nearly over.

Still baffles me about his fitness and losing a bit of weight. Yes he was ill when he first joined so no doubt piled it on a bit but the bloke is a pro footballer who gets paid to train and play football.

He will have nutritionists, fitness trainers and experts to say "eat this, do this, drink this".

I'd imagine they'll all get a rise if we get promoted so surely that should be incentive enough?

I wouldn't have signed him in that condition to be honest.
A bit hypocritical Saturday as I stood eating my pie after a skin full of drink thinking he's overweight and unfit!

It's hard to say, he might not have been when he signed as he then picked up the illness and was out for a couple of weeks.

He was obviously doing a good job in their U23 and shows glimpses for us once or twice a game when he gets the ball but if we wanted that we could just put Reid in there instead who does at least seem more athletic.
