He cant use Virus as an excuse, same as FGR. No gameplan at all. No chances created.
I think he can though. Certainly for Bayliss who just didn't look the same player was very very sluggish and under par. McNulty too.

That's two of our best players right there.

Doesn't excuse everything by a long chalk, but does excuse a couple of players at least.

McNulty had nothing all game up front, pointless him getting changed. Same as JCH.

Surprised they dont have sore necks.

Why is it that teams with smaller budgets, smaller crowds, not laden with high debt, and no stars to sell on can find the strong physical, streetwise and hardened players needed at this level but we can't?

We have the finance but the decision making throughout the club on and off the pitch is generally woeful, with a few bright spots like some of the Boddy initiatives.

I don't know why anyone expects any different, but I really thought this year we might actually see the job out. Just for once. I know we're still in with a shout, and it's still tight. But the last 2 performances have all the shades of the beginning of our usual slide. We just haven't turned up when it matters, and when it's this tight every point does matter. It feels so familiar and repetitive that I think by now most of us can recognise it coming from a mile away.

I know we have injuries and a virus going round, so I just hope that once we get that cleared up things improve. It's just that never seems to happen with this club. We only ever seen to slide one way past a certain point.

Agree but it
Free ticket wanker. Go back to your egg chasing.

Bet he went to FA cup game and checkafuckwit final though

And a gameplan, a system they all play to.

I know it is so sad 2 teams with no budget to talk of, walk all over us

Do we know that this is the case? FGR brought in a good number of players in the transfers, including Adam Bray, whilst AS brought in 7, to add to a team that has four player on 10+ goals each.

We were told before the start of this year that SISU had given us a top 8 budget - on that basis, we're about were we are for the budget.

I'm kinda dreading the result against Brighton. Jeez! If we can't beat Accrington bleedin' Stanley at home in front of a massive crowd, then what are our chances against Brighton away in the cup? I fear a right good thrashing, at least 5 or 6 nil! :emoji_disappointed:
We will prob beat them

So why did Robins NOT work within his budget then and be creative with this bloated squad , SISU not to blame here it’s obvious

We seem to mess up each Jan by signing players on loan who aren't match fit and not committed to the cause

Absolute clueless performance today, back four looked vulnerable all day and put us tomthe sword after about 3 minutes and we couldn’t respond. Fair play to Stanley, they come at us very positively and it worked. We could have lost this one by more. Couldn’t work out why we were intent of pumping clueless balls to our strikers which had two men on them all game. I took forest green on the chin as an away defeat and ‘one of those games’ but this was just piss poor. We don’t look like a team who can go up sadly

We currently look a long way away from winning promotion, very disappointing

Stanley knew our weaknesses and exploited them. for me robins doesn’t mix it up and we’re too predictable hence why teams do a job on us

Talking to my son on the way out and I said they were more streetwise to the league and the arts of it, Baker says the same on CWR, then Robins says the same.

Today's buzzword is streetwise!

I'm gonna say fair play to Accrington for the 6 points they've taken this season of us. They were worth the points against us without being anything spectacular just more workman like and "streetwise" while well drilled.

Still waiting to see evidence of us having the finance vs other such teams. Seems really odd that for the last couple of seasons plenty of traditionally smaller clubs have been able to attract or hold on to decent players, whilst we can't. I'm not up on the ins and outs of this club, but it seems to me that since the time of Pressley this club has not only been run on a shoestring but has also had a downwardly mobile air it about it. I blame the council for selling us out but I blame SISU for running us into the ground. I think even the best manager for this league would struggle.

Just got home.

Disappointing team effort. In such a poor collective effort it’s amazing that certain players still can be singled out for clearly stealing a living as a professional footballer.

We dint create anything. We could hardly string two passes together and when we did try to pass long it was clearly obvious what we tried to do.

No one got on at the ref and we just aloud them to waste time and kill the game.

We don’t appear to have a plan B. When we go a goal behind we just play the say as we have been doing, even though it clearly isn’t working.

Such a shame in front of a large crowd we disappointed once again.
