I hope Robins has learnt his lesson about loaning under 23 players.
If the budget doesn't allow for bringing in more experience then I'd rather he played some of our own youngsters.

Sums up our attack, we have a chance to go at them but we stop and turn back. Ends up with shipley trying a silly pass they intercept and shoot over.

Nothing wrong with under 23 loans if they are better than you already have. Barratt and JMD don't look any better than our own youngsters.

He’s not alone! We’re a shambles defensively. Offensively I can understand that we might struggle against premiership teams but from a defensive point of view surely any pro footballer knows how to mark a man?
The guy on tv said it was like our defenders have an invisible barrier they can't cross

Completely outplayed, no question about it.

Seen us play better though, always either hoofing it up to JCH (looking at you Haynes) or trying the difficult ball. Keep things simple.

Let's see what the second half brings but I think this is the end of the cup run.

they're always a gamble though. Young players are notoriously inconsistent, just look at our own youngsters. I don't think it's the route we should go down.
We've done it now but it shouldn't be something we pursue in the future.

I've already said it several times but I wish we went out in an early round. Complete waste of time. League has to be the focus.

Day out though yeah?
I’m pretty convinced it makes no difference other than a positive one winning games. We are on a bad run. We are missing

Jones
Andreu
Davies
Doyle
McDonald

Others carrying knocks and people are wondering why we are struggling to compete at a premier league team with a 12.5m striker up front

Ffs wake up will you!!

Commentator on sports net saying the same. We make the most basic errors, get a free kick in their half play it back when it should be going into the box

Summed it up perfectly, play it back to Burge to lump it long and lose possession.

If your gonna lose it put it in the box

We're so defensive, we had no width, we try to play football in the wrong areas and thr amount of cheap ball we give away is ridiculous. Its pretty much how we play in the league, that free kick summed it up, it ended going back to burge who had to launch it anyway.

Ref paying a lot of attention to the camera (like a go pro) behind the goal. Guessing it’s club coverage and not goal line tech etc? Strange how he went straight to it when normally it’s the lino’s Who just check the netting?
Was informed by the Lino.

David Pleat on BBC Radio 5 live:

"If someone asked me are Coventry a direct side or do they play through the middle, I honestly could not say."

"They simply do not have the speed or the guile to trouble Brighton."
