The fact you lost the one game in the dying stages as a contribution says it all. Robins will be judged on his bizarre decision to put him ahead of Nazon and even Clarke Harris and I’m afraid in the end it will cost him his job and next season Biamou will never kick a ball for the club.
Grendel can you not leave this until tomorrow.......Massive result tonight so lets all be happy for a few hours yeah :)

I'll take points like that any day / night

Did look like for most of the game that both teams would be happy for a point, or a scrappy, lucky winner.

Bayliss did brilliantly to win the pen. First winning the ball out wide after it looked like he'd lost it, to getting into the box making the Wycombe player make the challenge.

I'm not sure it was the game of the season, that's for sure, and a little surprised at how well Robins thought we did, but that's probably why he manages in the game and I don't :)

I too think it shows that the FA Cup was a massive distraction for us. The 3 games we lost, had we shown even half of the effort that we did Saturday when we'd had 10 men and again tonight, our league position might be very different!

Yes, although we would have moaned it would probably have served us better to have lost to Stoke, great day out at MK though.

Personally happy to see Reid back - good crosser of the ball and love how direct he can be.

I didn't want Reid to play for us again, but if he plays to his full potential every game then I'm happy that Robins has given him a second chance

Said early on today we needed a win got 1 great, now it means a win on Saturday would put us 4 points ahead Lincoln and they would only have to win 2 more games than us which would be a great position for us .This is the value of winning games against teams around you. A loss tonight would have left us 5 extra wins away from Wycombe and no chance of auto's,3 don't seem so bad.

Before their loss at Morecambe (even then they scored 2), they won 3/3 scoring 10 goals. If we squeak a 1-0 win from a pen, I think the tactics would have been perfect.

To come off a 3 loss skid, to go to Mansfield and Wycombe away with (potentially) 4pts is great going and both are formidable opponents at home. Especially since we had 10 men for 75m of the Mansfield game.

Just to clarify; it was a tongue in cheek comment.

It’s a great result and in the space of a few days we all have a reason to be excited again.

I’m very much looking forward to Saturday and us returning to the play off places....

Or shattering the illusion once again.

This is the bloody City after all. Be just typical of us to lose on Saturday and be back to square one.

Fingers crossed however that this is indeed the start of a winning, unbeaten run.
