Both really weak attempts at overall counter arguments.
Weak!!!
More people were killed this week in Lincolnshire then any where else in the country because of the roads you moron.

It was off because of the weather get over it, no one to blame idiot.
I for one am glad as I couldn't make it damn them if they had played in those conditions

Not wishing to get in an argument about this, but didn't Lincolnshire Police tweet that the roads down here were fine and clear?

The story kept changing, which is why there was some confusion on here.

Jeez! A game off football was off because of the weather/safety concerns-time to move on!

But...you’ve just said with all that has gone over the weekend. You do make me laugh, never known someone to contradict himself so much :)

@Adge how did you of all people get involved? ;) I didn’t think I’d be able to get my car off the drive so couldn’t make it
With great difficulty! Was up at 6-30am digging the car out anyway as was going to Cov to see my mum. Believe me it was 5mph all the way to the A46 near enough.
Surprised though after we left the Ricoh and were on our way to Forest via the M69 it was really clear as we were heading more North.

Just making a point so it was called off why does someone have to take the blame.

Imagine the meltdown had we lost yesterday and how it shouldn't have been played.
Even I am struggling to blame anyone, and that's a first.

How was the Wasps game today?

For the record, you're talking to someone who drove 150 miles on Thursday only to get stranded in the middle of fucking nowhere in a village that had two hotels neither of which wouldn't take us because we had dogs. On the way to another hotel in the middle of the night which we had to go for as we were freeing to death we then saw a really serious collision which I stopped at. The next day we drove back and had to abandon our holiday completely.

I know full well the roads are bad, but you are seriously wet in the head if you think there wasn't something slightly amiss with the way this was called off.

How the fuck would I know how the Wasps for on?
I as a Cov Rugby Supporter have never been to one.
Maybe you should have stayed over and watched them yourself just to finish of your holiday.
Honestly I just done see any benifit for calling this game off.
Surly playing the game would have indured the Wasps game went ahead.
Without futher snow the walkways would have been clear and as for the pitch they don' t need as good a surface as us.

So what other reason would there be?

Just checked the Wasps forum and their match thread states a game played in terrible conditions. No bonus point win against bottom of table side.

Must have been the way we left the pitch for them.

I feel for a lot of the people who had made plans and already set out on Saturday, but there's a small section of shrieking idiots on social media that I'm glad had their day ruined. Hope their car got stranded on the way back from their trip to nothing too.

I know if ours was the only game off then yes I could understand it, but when the Vile and there other crummy neighbours call off thier games it says something.

Wasps and Lincoln wanted the game off. We wanted it on. Unfortunately the decision- maker is paid by Wasps.

This will be the third time I've asked this question, I haven't had an answer on the other 2 occasions.
Why would Lincoln want the game called off when it now means they will have 7 games in April including a cup final with the potential for extra time and penalties?

They're in shit form now and have a few injuries particularly their centre half who replaced Raggett. Few weeks time things could be totally different. Their week will have been disrupted with the snow (training indoors is hardly the same). You have to play all the games anyway why would it matter that it's pushed back?

Again, they'll have players back fit and may not be going in to the game on the back of 2 losses and limited training. Lose Saturday and they would have been out of play off contention in my eyes. No game certainly suited them as their fans reaction showed us

their fans reaction? I saw some who were happy, plenty were not.
Though to be fair to you, it's your opinion they wanted it off, not that they were complicit in it's cancellations like some!

I found the majority were delighted, only those who travelled that were understandably not. I can see where you're coming from though and we'll wait and see who it benefits. We could easily have lost on Saturday and be bemoaning the game going ahead!

What a pile of horse shite!! I travelled on a mini bus with lincoln Mates, none of the support wanted it called off and all were gutted. Loads of coaches set off at 8 and 9.
They felt confident of a result tbf.
Health and safety madness and blame culture ruined the prospect of the game going ahead - not lincoln not wasps
