Charlton have an impending takeover so I think he knows he’ll be on his way and obviously Oxfords new owners wanted him so seems logical.

Yes I was surprised to see that too? Some football club owners are quite hasty in their decisions, but I guess if they are concerned that their lack of form might cost them a promotion, the cost of changing the manager may well pay off
