I’m not suggesting that we forgive him but I think he will have a vital part to play in the remaining games.
Since he has been back in and around the squad his performances have been good, even if from the bench.
Fair play to Robins for putting him back in also.

Certainly appears to be up for it! ONWARDS & UPWARDS

Can’t forgive or forget I expect he will be gone after June but, he was excellent today but playing for his future and that’s the problem... only plays when there’s a target. Remember the run up to the cup final? Didn’t lift a leg afterwards when we needed him.

Good player on his day though.

He will be gone I would expect. However I’m happy for him to play for his future in the next 8 games.

Same here.

I wanted him nowhere near the first team, but now am happy we have him as a option in the squad.
Looks very sharp indeed seems that impact player we need. Almost scored at the death vs Luton and Today.. Just highlights how ineffective Barrat and JMD (without being unfair on loan players) have been nowhere near his class.

Keep forgetting we have Barrett.

Shame he couldn’t give a hoot about us after our relegation, and wanted out. Could have been a useful player for us once we lost Jodi, before we changed our tactics to suit the players we had available. But whilst he’s here and performing I think he’s a welcome addition and agree it shows what poor business we were perhaps forced into while he was away sulking in having to bring in players like Barrett and JMD

completely understand him wanting to play at a higher level, but as soon as it became obvious he wouldn't get any offer, he should have said he would stay and show everyone he can get us back to league one as opposed to play for another league two club

Not sure he is going to be inundated with offers from League 1 if we don't go up. Is he out of contract this summer?

Key factor for the club will be his wages. He may be happy to take what's on offer if he isn't offered anything elsewhere (he's just found out that the grass isn't always greener) Jody Jones can play right wing (if he comes back fit/isn't sold) and Reid-as we have seen, offers a wide attacking threat. I'd be happy for him to sign a new deal for next year - whichever division.

i like him he is different and as others have said he needs to be working towards something to perform and is a big game player

Like i said from the get go hes someone we shoulf use wether he wanted away or not.

One of the top league 2 players on his day and Robins knows that thus welcomed him back

Can’t knock him at the minute really. Coming on and doing the business which is all that matters at this stage.

Had a great game against Barnet but then anonymous against Luton. Prefer him as an impact sub against tired defenders. He won't be here next season as he's, by a fair margin, the highest paid player at the club and we could use the money better elsewhere. Shipley has had a great breakthrough season and we should be putting the time into his development.

He has had loads.of development

Our priority is promotion not development. Robons should pick rhe player who he feels will win us each individual match

No other should about it

Today we thought the better player to do that was Shipley and we won 4-0. Reid had a good cameo but it was just a cameo, we all know he can't play consistently well.

And well all know he can have 1 off grest mstches like chexmatrade or port vale last season

8 games left
Of reid has 2.or 3 motm performances it will help us get.promoted.

its unlikely he will have 2 or 3 in 8 games when you have listed 2 in 18 months

He could play a part in what we're trying to do. Not many teams at this level will have a player his (potential) quality. I just wouldn't bet on it, I'm glad his football has improved and he looks motivated but I think Shipley gives us more balance in the middle and gives Bayliss the freedom to roam. Reid would be a preferred option if we had Kelly with Doyle.

I think shipleu benefited feom being out the team for a few weeks

Prefer pacy wingers but its nice to have options

To think we have these options despite jones and ansreu oit.most of season

Strong squad!!

Maybe maybe not
Even.cameo roles rhat clinch the pts is enough for.me

My.love.of ccfc.outweigjts petty dislikes of our players

I am weird like that

I don't dislike any of our players. I do however question why our highest paid player is only ear marked for a cameo role ?

I have not said that. I beleieve has.played well most times i have seen him this season

And last season every1 was shit not just him. Dont thibk he was any worse thsn others. Cant judge players ehen venus and slade manager. Under.robins hes done well. Just has a myth made up by disgruntled fans thats he doesn't try

At home we should be picking Reid before Shipley as he stretches the opposition where Shipley plays narrow (part of this must be instructed) also is it just me or is Shipley very unfit he was blowing out of his arse at eighty minutes.

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you know he's the highest paid player at the club? Are players' salaries listed somewhere?
