According to this:

We will not be extending the deadline for Early Bird purchases, as we have done in previous seasons. However, we will be adding a second tier of Early Bird prices from the 24th April this will close on 3rd June when we will know which division we are playing in next season. The deadline to retain your existing seats, will be extended to this date.

The current Early Bird offer remains the cheapest way to watch Sky Blues next season and the benefits of being a Season Ticket holder have been there for all to see this season with the away FA Cup tie tickets at MK Dons and Brighton being limited to Season Ticket holders only along with several away League games. Any Season Ticket holder existing or new will also get priority for any potential play-off games this season. We would like to thank everybody that has made this commitment to the club.

The “Final Five” match package we promoted prior to the Grimsby game proved very popular with supporters. We are today launching a “Final Push” package for the last 3 games at the same pro-rata price to give supporters the opportunity come and support the lads at cheaper prices.

Shooting themselves in the foot with this one. I was thinking of getting one but can't if they don't extend the deadline. Sure I'm not the only one.

Thinking twice for next season but did not want to loose my 'football friends' if I let my seat go and decided late to get one.
Can see next season in L2 being a dire affair for us if Sisu again balance the books as promised.
A later decision is fine by me.

Mind you they appear unable to update the website to reflect the statement which is a bit unprofessional. Mind you if they can't update the players pages what did I expect.

I think they really need to be getting the "second tier" pricing out so people know in advance what it is going to go up to?

Still have most of April to order them but I will just get them through Zebra for ease, if I was trying to pay in one go I'd have liked to save up a bit..

they have to have a deadline at some point and it makes sense for the people who book early to be rewarded.

Deadline day is 23rd April we will still have 3 games to play do not think we will know what league we will be playing in by then . The take up will be only in 3 figures and if we do stay in division 2 a significant drop will happen. They are taking the p - - -.

I think it said around 500, I was going to renew and also start bringing my older son but this is way too early and the lack of notice was a disgrace it smacks of desperation to keep them going through the summer.

Don't think this is much to write home about... We all still know when the deadline is, if you want a season ticket buy it before that date.

If they had put the price up in the hope of League 1 football then i can see why you'd want to know for def if we will make it there, but same prices as this year no issue.

If you want one buy one - if you don't - don't...

And if money is an issue, do the finance option now and when you have the money pay it off then at that point. You would hardly incur any interest charges.

That's what I'll do anyway, interest isn't that much over the ten months if isn't paid off anyway

I was once told that 40% or so of STs are sold in the last few days before the end of the early bird period, which historically has always been extended to the end of the month, allowing for the fact that's when most people get paid.

I had budgeted to get 4 season tickets at the end of April. I won't be in a position to get them on the 23rd. So it depends on the uplift. A small, token increase will be fine, but if it's substantial then I will get two, because the other two were only just about justified given that a number of games that would be missed.

What you say is true, but not everyone thinks like that and not everyone wants to sign up to a finance agreement regardless of the interest rate. Some are on the fence and perhaps need incentivising a bit. Seems an odd call to make, but again it depends on the increase to the end of the month. Would be nice to know what that is.

A number of reasons really, the main being that I haven't made my mind up yet. I live over 100 miles away so have to take into account travel costs and time (missed family time, etc). I'm away on business a lot during the week so to be away at the weekend might be a big ask. I'd still get a match package again if I don't go the season ticket route.

The other reason is that I've just had to pay the balance on a £8k holiday (which I'll be on if we get to Wembley :facepalm:) and in the process of making an offer on a new house. The second bit means I probably won't take out any finance at the moment so rules that out. The deadline is also 2 days before my payday which doesn't help.

I'm not saying I definitely won't get one at the higher price, or make a decision before the deadline, but will make it less likely. Just need to figure a few things out first.

I'll also struggle to convince my old man to get one by the end of the month.

I just think it's a risky strategy when numbers will be down anyway. I'm just one person so not really significant but I don't want to see our crowds fall massively again. Time will tell.

I cant help thinking that the shorter and earlier early bird period has a lot to do with needing cash now to cover this seasons shortage in cashflow............ was going to work well up until we have the embarrassment of 6 : 2 against Yeovil.

If as Boddy told the Trust the break even was 9000 average attendance then they must have a cash flow shortage at the moment...... somewhere over £200k? To get to attendance breakeven the last three games need to average around 10650 and we have to make playoffs at the very least

Early bird is a good idea, as is a staged increase but unless the club succeeds on the pitch it could all fall pretty flat

More crazy marketing...they don't have a fuckin clue....they could have tried to sell the tickets for Monday for £15 for a one off being a bank holiday (good job they didn't in hindsight after that horror show) but instead they miss out yet again!!!

To be fair I think the marketing has been much improved this year. Not keen on this one but that's my opinion, I hope it works out well but I just think it'll result in a reduction of take-up on season tickets, but let's give credit where it's due for improvements this year.

Our friends that never renewed or attended all season we were all renewing for next season I myself only had a half ST.
This will annoy a few people and the Club will loose even more supporters especially if we do not get promoted..
They just have no clue how to deal with their clients.

Yes but one bad one blows the rest out of the water.
People remember the bad not good.
