I think it's probably a case of us being used to better goalkeepers in higher divisions. I've not seen any other keeper who has impressed me too much, they're all a bit shaky.

The Yeovil goalie looked ok to me caught it and kicked it straight two skills that burge doesn’t have

Whenever I watch him I think he this bloke won his place in a raffle he waddled about just pushing people.

He’s been consistently one of the best strikers at L2 level for as long as memory serves me. I’d happily have him in our team.

Agreed. We’ve been blessed to have some really good GKs over the years (after relegation); Hedman, Steele, Fulop, Marshall, Westwood (we had Westwood and Marshall at the same time for crying out loud!) and Murphy.

So yeah, when we have players like Burge, RCC and Allsop filling that role, they all look relatively terrible. I think Burge probably is one of the best, if not the best, GK in the league. At least actual footballing people seem to think he is.

Eisa is a good shout, gets overlooked as he is playing for Cheltenham :(

For what he’s done in a below average side he should be in. The way he’s adapted to jumping up the leagues into professional football is a credit to him and is clearly blessed with good movement, eye for goal and pace.
A modern day league 2 Ian Wright

5 match winning goals gaining 15 points and 20 league goals is the survival of Cheltenham in this league

Akinfenwa gets a lot of bad talk about his size and ability but he’s effective at what he does for the team and has a long CV to back up his stats.

12 assists and 17 league goals so far this season.

A career of 1 in 3 goals return in league two says he’s a effective striker, love him or hate him.
