Just back.

Good result which didn’t look likely and the game looked to be heading for a nailed on draw. Piss poor set pieces and some below par performances against a very average team. Was far too easy for them to score.

However, class winner and then looked in control last part of the game.

Fans were quiet and fairly unimpressed from what I could see. Yet another pitch invasion.

Anyhow. Great three points today. Doesn’t matter how ugly it was or how many individual errors there were today we got three points and right now that’s all that matters.

Big game Friday and I’m looking forward to it. Don’t care if we play awful, McNaulty fails another overhead kick, Burge kicks it into touch, JCH looks lacklustre and wins nothing in the air, how pedestrian Kelly is etc. all that matters is the points. I’d be delighted if we could win pretty and everyone deserves to be man of the match but I ain’t going to lose any sleep if that doesn’t happen so long as we get enough points to make the playoffs. Nothing else matters at this stage.

We always invade the Crawley pitch after a relegation.

Surprised to see there were no flares! They had some very heavy handed security and they ambushed two pissed up blokes and then forced them to leave the area with the help of the police, very strange.

It looked like it kicked off in the corner after the pitch invasion? The atmosphere was very flat today.

It's also pointless us having set pieces, we are useless at them.

Spot on.

They were clearly ready for us today and yes they had a proper handy looking response Squad. Looked like it kicked off in the corner part of the terrace after we scored?

So those things didnt happen?

Why don't we shoot ? - we had 8 shots today and scored twice away from home

Story of the season - Our 20th win ?

No idea what they do in training - Lucky MR does and we are in play offs because of it

Hollywood pass 535437 - Its league two.

we weren't very good - yes we were. its was a competent performance. MR also said it was "decent"

From what I see it's harmless "smoke bombs" that usually get bunged around. Never seen a flare at a city game

I said why dont we shoot after we had a great chance for a shot and it was laid off and wasted.

Story of the season because stats will show we struggle to break teams like crawley down, it has been an issue all season.

Hollywood pass, yes it is league 2 so dont keep trying it.

Said about training because of set pieces being awful, again that's fact from today.

We weren't very good at all, being competent and very good are 2 different things.

You need to look up and understand context.

Now I only was able to watch the first half so cannot comment on the overall 90 mind but not so sure on why the slight negativity a massive 3 points picked up today be it lucky, just edged it or well deserved however you may view it. 3 points on the board job done. How many times we been the slightly or far better however you viewed it and lost, like last week we didn’t deserve the win but deserved a point.

Sorry Crawley 3 points to us, thank you very much!

The Robins doubters queuing up sharpening up the knives, taxi nearly being called again. Took a risk today and changed things up a little at the first realistic opportunity, had to tweak it so he’s responded to how the games panning out as Crawley seemed to easily play through us. Substitutions again came up trumps having a positive impact on the result.
Gave the exciting raw Ponticelli a start after integrating him back into the side and it’s paid dividends, could be a prize asset in the coming games

Plenty could be better overall but the season target is still on.
Cheer up.

Admittedly I wasn’t at the game today, and I’m sure someone said earlier Haynes lost his man for their goal.

I’ve just watched the goals, and I have to defend the guy. I honestly thought it was a well worked goal, that league 2 defenders wouldn’t really stop.

Thought It was a nice piece of one touch passes.

Overall great win under pressure. I made a point last week about us not winning big games, following the Mansfield game earlier, the team shoved that one down my throat and I for one couldn’t be happier

Still have no idea how this went in

2nd goal, tilt your head

I know what you mean. For both, in a way-the second beat a lot of bodies on the way in too. I'm going with the theory that he expertly placed both of them! They were both beautifully curved. I bet he's good at golf. Or snooker.

I thought that after the first 20 minutes or so we managed the game pretty well (one chance for Crawley in the second half that they really should have taken). As the game wore on I felt we were more and more on top and for the ten minutes before we scored the second had really started to turn the screw. Biamou made a big impact yesterday, putting their defenders under pressure and making them make mistakes. He was the difference between a win and a draw. I have not been that impressed with JCH since he arrived. One great shot yesterday but apart from that largely anonymous. He often gets caught on the ball and goes down far too easily. I am not sure he is the answer to our attacking problems either in this league or the one above. For all of their critics. I thought that both Kelly and Haynes did okay yesterday. However Doyle is a real driving force and needs to stay fit if we are to be promoted.

Tha steward went apeshit! Some bloke took a swing at him and he lost it and had to be restrained. He showed his tattoo to someone and said 'I used to be a royal marine!'. He then took his bike from behind the burger bar and went home! If he hit the bloke back the game over

Not surprised if people are swinging at him

Really pleased that we got the win yesterday, with Mansfield’s win, it was vital that we took 3 points. To be fair, I thought we were pretty poor on the day, there were long periods when we just couldn’t keep the ball, our passing was inaccurate and there was a lack of ball control. The City crowd behind the goal were pretty frustrated with the way things were going, and I reckon that we struggled after about 10 minutes until well into the second half. We then picked up around 20 minutes into the second half and JP scored that excellent goal. After that, we managed the game out very well, Crawley only had one chance which fortunately they passed up.

JCH is really frustrating, spends far too much time on the floor looking for unjustified free kicks. He also looks sulky, although in fairness, for much of the game the service to the front players was poor. I’m not sure that he will improve, he should be trying to impress at the moment, and he doesn’t seem to be totally on it. Think he has talent, but is the aptitude there?

Only caught the end of the game, but just shows the polar opposites of fans.

Close up camera on Jose as he makes his way back to the tunnel upon the final whistle and some fans are smiling at him and giving him warm applause as he passes and others are incandescent with rage and giving him some right old dogs' abuse.

You have to laugh.

Sounds familiar don’t it.

Hopefully the sky cameras have a different view for our point of view and chants of there’s only one Mark Robins ring out! On the other hand...

Yep, I see that same polar opposite reactions from our fans every time we lose. Last time was Notts County where most fans applauded our players for their efforts, but as I looked across the stand, I could see different groups of fans making abusive gestures (I’m sure I don’t need to spell it out) and shouting abuse. Guess what, teams lose football matches, it’s disappointing, and often a real sickener, but get over it! - man up!!

With some fans I honestly believe that it doesn't matter how well we have played if we have lost.

Seen us play well and been a bit unlucky, but as soon as an opposition goal goes in, some are frothing at the mouth and getting really irked and angry.

It can go from happy and excited by the play, to 'you're shit' and 'Robins out' in the bat of an eyelid.

It’s funny at times....sort it out Robins!! Useless!!

Because it’s all MR fault that his players misplaced a pass or made a hash of things or been caught out of position.

Agree with above comments, but a game we have won 1-0 that we could easily have lost 1-0, the result from the same match influences massively how we feel about how the team has played (well it certainly colours my judgment, and I consider myself fairly sanguine when the game is over).

The match I was at we won 1-2.

I was sitting with the Crawley Mayor, and also the previous chairman. He said that the current Crawley players are the worst squad they have ever had.
