FFS, there’s some right drama queens on here. Robins has his faults...the main one that he doesn’t address the GK situation when it’s obvious anyone currently on the books are liabilities. Haynes as well for that matter.

But, he’s got the best (and 3rd best) win % of our managers so he’s obviously not clueless.

He’s got faults but we’re in L2 FFS. You’re not going to find a manager who gets everything right in this league.

A shit day at the office. Move on. Two games to go and it’s still in our hands.

So what if we're in Lg2. The fact that we can bottle a massive game like this is down to Robins. We may still make the playoffs. But I dread to think what will happen to us if we get there. I have a feeling we ain't gonna make the playoffs.

How many points is a good goalkeeper worth in a season. Burge has made yet another mistake that put the game away from us. I’m fed up of walking past his fancy merc outside the Ricoh knowing I’ve paid towards him having that that. I might wait and tell him next time.

I'm a Burge fan but the constant fuck ups in the past month alone have forced my mind. Get him out. Same with Haynes. Enough is enough, we're gonna blow a golden play off opportunity because of these clowns.
what fuck ups?? I don’t get it!! Seriously this game what were they? McDonald the worst of the back five. Ponti missed the two chances not max but don’t let that get in the way of facts

Don't think I've ever been as angry coming away from a match. Don't get me wrong, we flapped the second half but fuck me Lincoln are an embarrassment to football.

I hate the quoting of win records. To quote you... "we're in L2 FFS".

Fair point but I’m right. Every manager makes mistakes. Robins isn’t any different. And he’ll make more going forward. But despite ‘a clueless manager’, ‘a bunch of bottle jobs’, a goalkeeper who is a mistake waiting to happen and ‘complete spineless twats’, we’re still in the play offs with a 3 point gap and just two games to go. All with arguably our two best players injured for the majority of our season.

What Robins does need to do is fucking drop Burge and Haynes for the last two games though.

What did burge do wrong? Didn't look at fault for anything tonight.

Honestly, is anyone really surprised. Just watch us throw it all away.
The problems in pre season have never been addressed by Robbins, namely,
Burge is inconsistent,
Haynes can’t defend.
2 defensive midfielders dosnt work.
We have no pace.
And we still need a FUCKING CENTRE FORWARD ROBBINS YOU c**t!!!

May yet make the playoffs. I can't see us getting anything at Cheltenham though because they score plenty and we're shot defensively. I think we're relying on Mansfield screwing up harder than us.

Tonight though, two things: why did we not get a penalty for the push/trip on Biamou? Even if we'd missed it it wouldn't have led to their goal immediately afterwards.

Second thing: we have struggled all season against organised, fouling, long-ball sides who are strong up front (Accrington, Yeovil, Exeter, Barnet, Newport, now Lincoln - though strangely not Wycombe particularly) so why has it been allowed to happen again tonight? I think the answer is that our defenders just aren't good enough at playing against that type of team (except perhaps Davies?) AND WE HAVEN'T GOT ANY OTHER DEFENDERS TO BRING IN

My happiness is shot and I don't know what to do with myself

4-2 down
Ponticelli & Reid should have been on for Shipley and Kelly.

Poor from MR in my opinion. Hate the fact McNulty is plonked out wide as well.

They were a side who knew how to win dirty, game managed a weak ref well!
Do think we are a very naive side.

What is the most number of goals that O’Brien has conceded in a single match for us? Is it the three he conceded in the second half vs Yeovil?

To me it is not that surprising that we have a goalkeeper who is so shit on crosses and kicking...he is being ‘coached’ by a guy who was also shit on crosses and kicking!!

I’m fed up of hearing ‘he’s only 25, he will learn, and goalkeepers get better with time’. He is fucking shit and I doubt that League fucking 2 is his level, the clown. People have said that Magnus Hedman was shit, but by the age of 24 he had ousted ‘Saint Oggy’ to be a number one goalkeeper at a premier league club, and a Swedish international. Would love to know what those people think of Burge!

As for Haynes; absolute joke of a footballer. Get stokes back in ASAP!! Stokes might not now have the pace to bomb up and down the wing but at least he did a solid defensive job

If a keeper can’t even attempt to catch a high ball floating over his six yard box then he is in the wrong job and if you can’t see the problem with that then you haven’t a fucking clue what you’re watching.

I missed the goal mate, but thanks for letting me know.

Burge was pitiful for goal 4 which I was in line with. Goal 3 he did nothing but stand there. Haynes should never play again

The context was the 50% win rate. Our record against our play off rivals is 50:50 funnily enough as well.
I don't think we bottled tonight, just conceded sloppy goals and one great finish. Bayliss is a luxury when we haven't got the ball and we're completely exposed.
The first goal was s good finish but he could have had his tea before hitting it he had so much time

I agree on Bayliss. He’s so sloppy on the ball and today was hopelessly exposed. This was the game he should have sat out.

We’re desperately missing a right sided midfielder a left back and a keeper. 3 huge weaknesses in our team and you can see the opposition try to exploit it time and time again.

Nailing my flag to the mast here. We are just not good enough.

I still think we will make the playoffs, but we are going to need a hell of a lot of luck to get to the final.

The defence has now become shocking, an accident waiting to happen. We are also being out-muscled by teams regularly across the park, apart from JCH and Doyle.

I think we will probably make the top 7, but unless the gods are shining down on us and we get a real rub of the green, this team will be playing League Two football again next season.

We are failing too often and there is a total lack of consistency.

Whatever happens in the next couple of weeks, we simply have to get rid of MR.
He simply hasn’t learnt the simple lessons that have bugged us all season.
If it wasn’t for a solid defence (all 6 of them) we would be in a relegation battle
Rather than a play off scrap.
He just isn’t the man for division 2. He picks his favourites regardless of how they perform, and is completely incapeable of motivating the team.

Gosh first half Bayliss was lovely on the bsll

No Pete he’s a luxury player loose and I’m afraid mentally weak judging by tonight. He shouldn’t have played him as the opposition dominated him.

I’m astounded also he played Haynes tonight as well. McDonald I suppose deserved another chance but that’s it for me. If we make the play offs don’t tell me we can progress with those two in defence.

Just don't know how that 4th goal got past Burge.

Some terrible defending tonight. Awful.
