I remember the home game, their midfielder (Pell I think it was) was absolutely battering Doyle. He did a bad tackle at knee height and donkey punched him in the back of the head after the ball had gone.

Add that they have a bit of aggression with pace (they had Eisa up front and a couple of wingers they always looked to get the ball to) and it worries me a little bit.

Our team would happily stand and watch Doyle get battered as it's only him who seems to do a bit when games go that way.

Agree, yesterday you would think the likes of Willis would stand up and show passion and leadership.

Willis is really dissapointing on that front like Rod. Way too timid.

Im not kidding you, without Doyle this season we woukd not have bern half as competitive. And of we had him in leagIe 1 as captain we wouldn't have gone down.

I'm in agreement with Mr. Floyd.

Robins thinking will be now that we can beat Morecambe at home and that a point at Cheltenham will be a decent result, with the hope we can maybe sneak it.

I really don't think we will go out gung ho, because that way we can easily lose the game. I think it will be a very defensive setup with both Doyle and Kelly playing as holding midfielders.

I defintely think we will go for the cautious appraoch and of course there is every chance Mansfield might not win anyway. Morecambe only need a draw on Saturday to be safe. I am convinced we will not set out in too attacking a formation. Cautious all the way and try and keep things tight.

Do you want to take bets on that? If we fuck up on Saturday I am not at all comfortable with the notion that we can rely on Mansfield to do us a favour and not win.

Yep we won the first game. Bayliss scored early on with that deflection if I remember?

However after seeing how pace for Yeovil hammered us and Aggression against Notts County and Lincoln did us recently it's going to be a tough game.

Surely our old friends Yeovil owe us a favour. Hate having to rely on the misfortune of others but I honestly don’t think Jekyll and Hyde City can handle the pressure. I’m confident of a home win vs Morecambe but after last night, taking 3 points on Saturday will be a tall order.

Even if robin's has a massive clear out in the summer we will still only be shopping for free transfers it's a vicious circle :-(
