I always thought Dion in particular was a natural talent: good on the ball and very aggressive. What on earth has gone on with these two. Thinking about the appallingly limp wristed display against Lincoln I couldn't help but think about who we have who has a naturally tigerish playing style, and instantly thought of Dion Kelly Evans. Are they just not fancied by M.R. ?
...or have they left ?

They’ve been injured but will be released at the end of the season when their contracts are up IMO. Dion will find another club at our level I think.

Didnt realise they were injured. dion is a real talent and to let him go is someone else's gain imho

Dion has the heart of a lion but I think he's too small for a defender unfortunately if he was taller he would-be the best right back in the league

Dion was one of the few positives from last season, so it’s surprising to see he has been nowhere near the team. Even if he is injured, I’d keep him for next season.

Unfortunately Devon has been poor in the games I’ve seen; not direct or pacey enough for a winger and potentially not good enough on the ball for a centre midfielder.

It is a shame as they obviously both have a real affinity for the club, which is evident in their displays, albeit more so Dion.

The heart and desire is there but it only carries you so far. The mans game that is L2 is unforgiving for them.

It’s a no from me. Leamington or Nuneaton is the likely destination to try and establish themselves and build a career and then filter down the pyramid with fond memories is my guess.

Dion is too small but a great heart, when he was given a game earlier in the season he didn't do himself justice (sounds familiar) and Devon is just too slow to play on the wing

Personally think both fall short unfortunately as I would love them to be good enough. Dion is the best prospect but has been ripped to shreds in some games this season

They seem like a great pair of lads and obviously are sky blue through and through, but for me, neither cut the mustard and there’s no room for sentiment in this game.

If we are to ever become successful we must shift the deadwood far quicker than we have done in recent years (Finch, Haynes, DKE’s, Burge).

I would hope we would keep Dion. I have only ever seen one poor display from him and that was Accrington at home where the whole team were poor, and I think he wasn’t fully fit. He came on to play in midfield in the MK game and I thought he looked very good. Midfield might be his better position. Devon doesn’t seem to have a trick to get by people and has generally struggled to make an impact so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was released.

When DiKE has played right back he has been targeted by opposition sides. Sometimes he has held his own and other times he has been completely owned.

Dion for me is much the better of the two. Unless we can indeed accomodate Dion further up the field I would get rid of both.

Sad, but unfortunately there is no room for sentiment here.

Ah yes another classic. Was also racking my brain trying to remember the name of the centre mid with the shaven head who played under Thorn? Ended up at Nuneaton surprise surprise!

The sentimentality of the brothers to do well rules over their actual ability to play acceptable football in my view. Both are evidently too light weight and have struggled to keep up with the pace of the game whenever I've seen them play, despite both having good pace. However, on the flipside both are only 21 so Robins may look to give them another chance next season, given that in all fairness a large chunk of their season has been cut short due to injury troubles so their progression has been stunted.

Also, Robins would do well not to cut our squad too thin this summer. It's important for CCFC to start the season with some resemblance of a squad once pre-season gets underway. Time and again we have to bring in 10-12 players to fill places and it's simply not working. Obviously I wouldn't want to settle on average players in the team, but it's food for thought for both fans and manager.

Ant is clearly crumbling mentally. Dec won't be able to carry it on on his own.
Saturday evening prime time beckons so long as they get themselves a decent agent and a geordie electrocutionist.
