bit harsh, he is a player who has distanced himself from the club so on the books but has not desire to play. Probably a legal matter rather than the fault of the manager.

Well no, if you manage an employee and he doesn’t turn up you don’t just say ‘oh well, don’t know where he is’.

Also, surely if you stop turning up for work you can be dismissed from your contract

but the club would do that not the manager directly. This is football it isn't a normal workplace

According to that....hes still got another 12 months to run, and even with the 40% wage cut, thats still another £2m+ he'll take off the mackems before hes done......:cigar::cigar:


No rush Jack you take your time keep milking them with Coleman there he will probably get an extension

Never understood why you can't fire footballers. In any other job if you don't perform or don't turn up you get sacked.
Probably because in any other job, you give a month of three month's notice and sod off to another job - no compensation paid out.

It's the risk you take for the potential of selling him for £20mil if he'd been successful.
