What happens if...... (3 Viewers)

So, currently we have +17GD and Mansfield have +15GD.
I don't want to bring the mood down after such a big win BUT, if we lose 1-0 and Mansfield win 1-0 What does it come down to as points AND GD will be the same! What next? Most wins? Most goals scored? Or is it head to head?

Yep goals scored so lets not even cross that one, just go and win
Yes for sure. I hope it doesn't come to that but just wanted to know.
Anyway, everyone enjoy the win for now and we'll worry about next week when it's here.

Dont forget Lincoln are now in the mix, could end up with them dropping out of the playoffs completely, unlikely but you never know.

I don't think we'd be so naive to lose to them in the se manner again. Especially so soon. If anything I think the game the other night was a bit of blessing in disguise. Especially if we meet them at Wembley. I think a pitch that big would hinder their long ball tactics. They'd either have to play it out of defence a bit (thus playing football and into our strengths not theirs) or the man intended for the long ball wouldn't be right on the edge of our box nullifying their biggest threat.

The math is simple. We have to do the same or better than either Mansfield or Lincoln to be in. Wecouldn't possibly screw that up ..................................could we?

Crazy but if we lose 4-3, and Mansfield win 1 nil.

Points, Gd and goals scored would be identical.

Then there would be a play off at neutral venue as head to head won’t count.

Nope.

One of the worst teams in the division. No wins in the last 9, only needed a draw today at home against a team below them and blew it.

We need just one single point against that team. That's all. Just a draw and we have scored 8 goals in our last 2 games.

If it were a win needed I would be a little more concerned, but still confident, but all we require is just a draw.

Morecambe only needed a draw today at home to be safe and they couldn't even do that and apparently Barnet completely dominated.

In fairness to Barnet, although given their league position they're one of the better footballing teams I've seen at the Ricoh this season. Just shows that playing good football isn't what gets you out of this league! Well... at least not in the right direction.

My only concern is that our worst performance this season was against Morecambe
Too much at stake this time so players will be focused hopefully

And we’d play Davis.

Haha....We are a team who are always big on comedy value.....usually at our expense........so just being Coventry City means you couldn't rule this out.....

They played there earlier this month and beat a League 1 side.

Yes in my opinion much worse than Yeovil debacle
At 2-4 we still had a slim chance in that game
Against Morecambe we were never at the races
