I see Luke McCormick is leaving Plymouth. Anyone fancy him here?Decent league 1/2 goalie with bags of experience. Missed most of this season through injury though so that would be a worry given his age. Only 34 I know but a shoulder injury that needed operating on can be a worry for a goalie.

This is only a thread because of his past, will we have a thread for every L1/L2 level goalkeeper looking for a new club?

Not played much this year but does have ability. Similar to Kirkland, they'd probably jump at the chance to play for us but the injuries are too risky.

I started it because A) he’s available B) he’s experienced and C) he’s from Coventry.

I’m aware of his conviction but that wasn’t the angle I was coming from.

I refused to go to Northampton and didn't watch until they returned to the city. If he signed I wouldn't see another match until he left. It's taken some relative success to get my passion burning again for this club after a long time and this would be a huge step backwards.

There will be 50 odd goalkeepers with both a & b this summer, and c is pointless

I coached Luke when he was under 11's at Morris Rangers, and he was nice kid.

I wouldn't want him at City due to his conviction for dangerous driving, as far as I'm concerned he should still be in prison

To be honest Nick, I couldn't remember if it was drink driving, or driving while he was on his mobile phone, but either way he should have been given life for killing a child

Surely you should be applying the same sentence to anyone using a mobile phone while driving or drink driving? Both have the potential to any someone's life.
