This week’s poll comes early..

Now the euphoria of getting to the Play Off Semi-Finals has calmed down a little, it’s time to see how your belief in Coventry City sits as we head into a huge weekend in a few days.

Unfortunately my gut instinct says heartbreak in the Semi-Finals....

I’m feeling confident that if we get to Wembley, roared on by 40k Cov fans again, we couldn’t lose. But, the problem is getting there.

Notts County’s home record is very good, so I’m hoping ya playing at home first proves to be an advantage. If we win the first leg, hopefully by more than 1 goal, Notts will have to attack us in the 2nd leg so will maybe be vulnerable to counters and I think we’ll win. If we draw Notts County, it’ll be an uphill battle, maybe pens. Lose, it’s game over barring a miracle.

Never been so nervous for a match ever.

I’m in the same place as you, agree 100%. Although I fancy us to score every time we play it’s crucial we take a half decent lead to Meadow Lane. For me, 2-0 would be a very good result at The Ricoh and anything more would be dream land.

There is very little between the two teams and over the two games this season we looked the better team. Step up McNulty and co...

Smashing Exeter in the final hopefully but its now down to how they play on the day and a bit of good fortune maybe from the referees, not the blind one who didn't spot the foul on Burge at county for their first.

I literally have no idea. I'm really excited but also quite scared.

As McNulty said in his interview (after Cheltenham I believe) - on our day we are unstoppable, but we haven't been consistent enough. In fact it might have been Doyle that said that, but the point still stands anyway.

If we fight for it in the next three games and perform as we can do, I think we can do it. There is no way of knowing what will happen though. We could get to the final and lose regardless. We could do a Crewe JPT and lose 3-0 at home this weekend. I think we just have to try and believe and be as positive as possible. If we go 1-0 down on Saturday, don't get on their backs, just make tons of noise and encourage them.

If the right things fit into place we can do it, but I can't honestly make a solid prediction. Let's just try to enjoy it and don't have too much expectation.

If we go into the away leg 2 goals up, I cannot see us losing over 90 minutes. With Tom Davies back in the team, I’m confident we’ll be able to deal with Notts County’s and Lincoln’s directness better than we did with McDonald.

McNulty definitely needs to step up, his record against the teams in the playoffs isn’t good, 0 goals in all 6 games — without Jodi Jones, we went from beating all 3, to losing all 3.

It is a big ask to win the play offs. We are good at getting bullied, and are inconsistent to say the least. A bad combination. think we will lose by the odd goal at Notts after a stalemate at the Ricoh

Weirdly enough, I am quite the opposite.

We got to the playoffs, so mission accomplished there on that one and now it could well prove to be a bit of a lottery, so I am well chilled out about it all. Feeling really relaxed.

Not going to get too sad if we don't make it and will now only be miffed if we don't give it our best shot.

I have hope, but zero expectancy.

I think this game could prove to be the calmest I will have been all season.

I would hope we'd go through and win at Wembley. However, if we don't I still think this season has been a moderate success. Particularly after the loss of Jones and Andreu.

I said exactly the same yesterday. In all honesty I see us falling short against county, but i feel no pressure compared to the last 2 games where the nerves were everywhere.

If we give it 110% (wanted to cram the football talk in) and don't get bullied but lose it's not as bad. If we lose to a defensive mistake after we get absolutely bullied all over the pitch I won't be happy.

I agree with that, but it that scenario pans out, I suspect you and I will be in the minority

First goal over 180 minutes is massive! If we score first, we usually get stronger, we all knows what the reverse brings tho!

Will go to penalties! and we will go absolutely beserk when we win!

We do things the hard way.
If my memory serves me correctly, i was at Sheff United we we lost on pens in the FA cup 1/4 final. One of the worst that was!

We should have won in normal time!

But this is the slight advantage if any they have, as their fans are behind both goals!

And if we don't sell out at home, the only fans behind either!!

Playoffs was my minimum requirement for this season so I'm happy enough, while reserving the right to cry if we go no further. Considering we're the only side who came down that still has a chance of going back up I think we've done alright regardless of perceived status.

I can only say Yes we will win,
Can't ever put us down for a loss or even draw.
