Surprised at the crowd after some were going on about a sell out . Still decent crowd though and some noise created . Would of took a draw at the start of the game . So even will laughable penalty , will take that result . As for your guy at the back . Will be amazed if he doesn’t get banned . Stupid thing to do when live on tv .

But hey ho. Onwards to Friday

The game was on Sky... A lot of people probably would’ve opted to watch it at the local pub or in the comfort of their own home.

With the rain? Can’t really blame some of them...

Not sure where the sell out thing came from.

I don't think anyone was expecting a sell out as far as I am aware.

We will have the laughable penalty considering your goal was clearly offside

Just wondering if any of your fans were talking about the foul on our keeper at your place in the league game that resulted in a goal?

Not having a dig, just wondering if your fans admitted it was a foul, that incident of holding and grabbing the keeper so he couldn't get to the ball.

I think there were probably two posters among us on this site who believed it could have sold out.
That unfortunately would have required a discount as times are tight for many folk.
Not feasible due to rules on sharing gate reciepts and that the gains are negligable once you get over 14K at full price.

I agree we got lucky but you make your own luck in this game. We were the better side for large parts of the match so in my opinion we earned a bit of good fortune. We hit the post early on. Your keeper saved the ball literally on the line. I would say we earned a bit of luck.

What about all our dodgy decisions throughout the season? Sorry it doesn’t wash for me.

Also did you sell out your allocation. We have at your place easily.

I was one who thought we’d sell out TBF. Disappointed we didn’t but it’s completely new territory for the club so anything was a guess certainly not an expectation.

Who said it was going to be 30K? Where were your 4,000 away fans?

Also, why are so many Notts County fans with access to the internet thick as fuck?

There are a lot of thick people on the internet

Oh by the way the correct spelling YOU’RE to your question about your 4000 fans . Just saying like

How is life in that glass house? Review your opening post and replace "of" with "have"! No charge on this occasion.

I think City have pulled a fast one with the attendance.

The game against Morecambe we had over 15k and Notts brought way more fans. They opened up a lot more of the ‘Jimmy Hill giant canvas’ Side too.

Looked around 20k tbh

Hmm maybe didn’t count cash buyers.... I wonder why (<cough>sharing gate receipts..)

As if Notts County will sell 17,404 tickets for the Friday game..........barely sold half their 4k allocation for a game 1 hour down the motorway. Paltry. We could have sold out our 4.5k away allocation twice over and even then we'd have had Cov lads sneaking into the home end.

Come back when you can sell more than 2.7k tickets to your biggest away of the season

Also the football you play is pure aids on the eye, hoofball cunts

It would have been a bit nearer 30k if they had managed to sell their allocation, can’t see the problem with the penalty Bayliss tackled and fell over and the ref thought it was a penalty and gave it nobody appealed. Nolan is a whiny little baby and if the football league start looking into challenges he would have no players available as they leave a bit in on every challenge. The ref was poor but apart from the penalty we got the rough end of most decisions like giving a free kick against Mcnulty when he was blocked off

I am not bothered about the crowd numbers, only the score at the end of two games.
For those who criticize Notts County's style of play, get a grip!
They are more streetwise that us, better suited to Division 4 football and if that gets them to Wembley then good luck to them.
