Clearly intentionally, stupid thing to do, deserved ban.

He's just lucky he hasn't been given an extra game or two for kicking out at Forte.

Big blow, but I'm sure Willis can step in just fine.

I think it will galvanize our players even more now. I still think we can cause them all sorts of problems.

Don't talk rubbish, he's our best defender by a mile. If he'd hadn't got injured we might have reached the automatics. We certainly wouldn't have got bullied against Notts and Lincoln like we did.
then why doesnt he play as much(before or after injury) if hes best by a mile?

or are you dissing mark robins?

which 1? CURIOUS

When was this? It's not from that tweet of footage of someone booting Forte is it? As that was obvs a different team wearing blue.

Lets try and take some positives from this.

Yes we have lost a very good player. But we will still be starting Friday with 11 men.

They think they have got a massive one over on us now. But we have cover for this position and they are going to try and exploit the cover with hoof ball football.

We can use this to our advantage and not try and be cocky about things. Just play our game.

also we need to moan at the ref as soon as they try any little dirty tricks.

he wasn't first choice to start the season, and to be fair, McDonald was superb early on.
He then started playing more until he got injured and has again been impressive since he got back.

Not dissing Robins but he made a mistake not starting him against Notts, (I would have been an improvement on McDonalds showing that day), and Lincoln. I think the fact he started him Saturday suggests Robins agrees with me.

oh yes the fact he didnt agree with you for majority of season means little? as long as he agreed on 1 game LOL

i will agree he was motm sat though and im gutted hes banned, but any anger should be reserved for davies not the fa or sum idiots on this forum making out nolan and county cheat but we are whiter than white.

It's a loss but Willis will come in meaning we can play a higher line as he will outpace their strikers and that should leave Bayliss/Kelly room to move forward and support the attack which means Biamou/JCH don't have to play the defensive forward role.

I agree he didn't stamp on him. But he intentionally stood on him.

And he definitely kicked out at Forte. Watch the video above.

Some serious sky blue tinted specs on this issue, if it was the other way round I've no doubt everyone would be calling for their player to be banned.

I'd be a lot more worried if it was McNulty. We will be fine at the back, let them worry about us.

who's angry? Here's my comment when I heard he got banned:

"fucks sake. Not surprised but a blow to us."

And we played Notts a matter of weeks ago, got bullied. played Lincoln a few weeks ago, got bullied.
Davis restored to the side, Cheltenham tried the exact same tactics as Lincoln by isolating the full back against one of their strikers, Davis across twice in the first ten minutes to stuff out the danger, lesson learned by Robins.

He's not perfect, and his positioning was poor for their goal but like I say, best defender we have.

Surprised there's no appeal? Possible reduction to one game could give us more options for the final should we go through.

What, this one?

That is 100% from the other night, it happened right in front of me.

Yup apologies, you're quite right. Looking again that is Davies booting Forte. Still not sure why we're wearing the Leicester kit mind you.

Alot of you are rubbing your hands with glee here, you have been proven right. pat yourselfs on the back!,what he done was wrong i agree, but this seems like some vendetta against us.i wouldn't be surprised if the Ref on Friday gives them a penalty just to even things up.

The ban for trodding on Duffy is fair enough. When you consider he also kicked Forte and we were handed a goal, we're still 2-1 up in the shit decision stakes.

Still have a feeling it will be levelled up :(

If we bring in their last game with us then they shouldn't have had one of the goals and a player sent off. :)

I know!
Agree McDonald had spells where he was the best defender, but he's been off form for some time.

Willis is our best centre half anyway and non of their strikers are Matt Rhead.

We've still got a team that is better than there's in every position and we better away so calm the fuck down.

Why oh why is everyone so downbeat? Ffs, Willis is a cracking replacement we play better football and if we can take at least a couple of the good chances we create we will win. I am still very confident we are a better side than them. We have goals in us. We seem to have wised up to there bullying (burge) Davies was stupid, but it isn’t going to cost us a player less is it. Still take our 11 v there 11 all day long
