I posted on another thread so please excuse the repeated nature of this reply. Drive to Luton Airport Parkway station, take the Thameslink to West Hampstead Thameslink, 5 minute walk to West Hampstead tube station and then Jubilee line to Wembley Park.

Coming back, take the Jubilee line from Neasden Station (about a 20 minute walk from the stadium, but you will avoid the horrendous queues at Wembley Park) to West Hampstead, and then do the outbound journey in reverse. You should be home within 2 and a half hours after leaving the stadium. Total cost, including petrol, will be around £25
If you dont mind driving, I go down and park at Ruislip and get the overground/underground into Wembley was pretty quick getting in and out last year
im still undecided about travel arrangements. However, based on last year, Id say Wembley Central overground to Watford Junction and train from there is likely to be quicker than Wembley Park to Euston and train from there. Crowds that head to Wembley Park are huge! And they usually have folk marshalling with stop / go signs to tryand keep it moving, but it still takes time.

Otherwise, coach or drive (if you can drive that is; if you cant then you can rule that one out)

Thank you for your replies guys, unfortunately, I don’t drive.

I was wondering if some pubs/clubs etc. will do their own coach travel! Like Christ the King or The Craftsman have done in the past which tends to be really good value for money.

I definitely won’t be doing the Euston to Wembley Park route again, I missed my coach back home when I went to England v Germany because the crowds were ridiculous. Only through sheer luck and sympathy that they allowed us to catch the next coach free of charge!

The overground could be a good idea, I’ll price it up shortly!

well I am not counting them all but can't be more than a 1000-2000 (at most) or so left from the original allocation but I am still not certain what the allocation was?

looks like loads of space presuming they have restricted exeter sales to a number of blocks which I presume they did...

Not sure if it’s been mentioned already but just a quick look on Shrewsbury’s and Rotherham’s twitter accounts it looks like approx 34k tickets have been sold between the two clubs for the league 1 playoff final so far.

We’ve sold 30k alone in 3 days! Some effort that like

Just goes to show that money wasn't the reason people didn't come out for the play off first leg. Wembley will easily be a £100 day pp. Oh well, still good they've come out for this.

We are a bigger club than both Shewsbury and Rotherham so it's not that surprising really but still a good effort from us.

we are a huge club, if we could get these people to league games you would think be more money for playing budget and more chasnce of promotion.

at least 1 nopm idiot who liked to berate those that gone that i know has now admitted after booking wembley ticket 2nd year in a row that he will return to ricoh. maybe minds are changing?

All people want is for their football team to do well , if the team is doing well and they don’t return then I’d guess that it’s more to do with the opposition as we aren’t playing the likes of united , arsenal and Leeds anymore and less to do with owners / brand of football we play

Should open up to 529 and see how quick tickets go near the half way line.

Amazing effort by everyone so far !

If this game can manage 30,000+ yet can only attract 6,000 for home games then its the club that is doing something wrong.

TBH in a city that has a population of 300,000 + it’s understandable that the attraction of a day out at Wembley can attract an extra 24k through the door, I wouldn’t say the club are doing anything wrong.

Just as last year showed and this year to a degree MK dons, Brighton etc there are a lot of people that come out of the woodwork when there is a sniff of success

Why you got to throw petrol on the fire like that? Do you not want us to have as many fans as possible?

It's the truth... I want us to have as many fans as possible, not people who give it loads and bragging about not caring about CCFC, refusing to give money to CCFC etc etc and then stopping for a day out to go back to it next season after we lose a couple.

Aye, there aren't many NOPM types anyway.

It'd be like saying there were a load of plonkers who were happy with a couple of wins in the bottom division, so they were stupid enough to forget how shit owners SISU are, and how Blackpool fans have far more scrupels and integrity.

Who'd say something like that, eh?

Enjoy your day alongside 26,000 plonkers

I would say there is less then 1000 tickets left most at the back of the stands.

So would expect other blocks open soon.
