It still sounds like the friend was immature. I doubt anyone there would have had an issue with her not being gay, surely?!
You would think not, but my daughter did say that people were very in your face about it all and really flaunting it.

I wasn't there, so hard for me to say. For the short time I was actually there it was all very sedate.

Think there may well have been drugs around, because my daughter said a number of people were acting very wildly.

As I say, she still enjoyed it, so it couldn't have been all that bad.

Clearly she didn't convince as a lesbian, getting offered a condom.
Sorry I'm just being flippant. :-o

People these days with their gender obsession are just pathetic

How do you mean?

The labels that people can now have and how you can have no gender at all. The fact that in this gender equal society a rather unpleasant murderer who abused and humiliated his victim can claim alternate gender status and so be transferred to a women’s prison and then under EU human rights obtain a £20,000 NHS sex change

Ah, so you not generalising, more angered that someone is exploiting it Which is fair comment .
I'm no expert but am aware what constitutes man and woman are combinations of x and y Genes. , then you get into hormones and their varying levels both naturally, enviromentally, In the womb and medically etc.
There's a Huge mix that science is leading us to understand .

Found it all very confusing. The banner they had on display was almost identical to this, but with a few more added on too and then some people had flags that were definitely not on that list there on this one here above.

Spoilt it for me a bit. Surely everyone is an individual and then you are looking for acceptance of your individuality.

This just seems another form of labelling people and no-one is surely going to be able memorise all these different flags and what they all mean.

My daughter is pretty clued up, but she had to keep going back to look at the banner to see what the different flags meant.
I classify myself as a 'Chapstick Heterosexual'. I'm attracted to women but I have chapped lips.

I would describe myself as a hetrosexual with slippers.

I spent the night conjuring up a flag design.

Here it is.

I identify as Covsexual. Our flag is sky blue and white checked and our trait is that we drink lots and automatically cum in our pants when Coventry City FC score a goal. A bunch of us got together a couple of Monday's back for a gathering in London.

Right, one flag was bugging the hell out of me. Kept seeing it, but it wasn't on the list they had on the banner just outside the event and I struggled to find it online.

It was a blue, white and black flag with a red bone it.

Anyway, finally sussed it while looking through the CT gallery today.

Puppy Pride. For those who like to dress up like dogs. These pics below are not from the CT

There has to be a limit and a line to be drawn somewhere surely?

And this was the flag. Saw quite a few with it on Sunday.

That's just weird. What on earth are they doing?

I wouldn't want my daughter seeing that nonsense.

There has to be a line drawn somewhere.

What about those people who have foot fetishes and only get turned on by feet? What about groups of people who are ony excited by those with painted toenails? What about people who only like to have sex underwater?

There must be thousands of different variations. Do they ALL get a flag?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being gay and if you want to celebrate it that is more than fine with me. I've got some gay mates and they are nutters, but also incredibly kind. They can get more fucked up than anyone else and party like there is no tomorrow. Drugs aren't really my thing but some of them can take killer amounts and be fine.

With all that, I find all the gender stuff over the top and I'm not sure I agree with dressing children up in skirts if they're boys etc. If they grow up and want to be gay or wear women's clothing then that's fine, but don't confuse them at a young age. It isn't fair.

Pride is of course something to be proud of too and I'm all for it, I just think it shouldn't be too pushy, like offering kids condoms and stuff. It's too far.

There was also a video of a policeman somewhere over the weekend acting like a fairy and even though I'm sure he's great at his job, I'm not entirely convinced the moped gangs will be too worried about clashing with the cops having watched that.

Yeah, agree. Let kids grow up and stop labelling them. They will discover themselves all in time when they get older and know and find out exactly what they are. There is some gender defining and rediifining with kids as young as 5 at the minute.

I still hate all these flags though. More labelling when surely we want to be all encompassing.

The block of flats I live in has people from all over the world. Polish, Nigerian, Jamaican, and from all over the UK. Someone said to me the other day Whitefriars the owners, have told tenants not to put England banners/flags up in case it "upsets" other tenants etc. Sod that my England flag is going up as it has done for years.

I guarantee that’s not true, like every single other “you can’t put the English flag up” story Ive seen. It just doesn’t happen.

Oh fuck I agree with Grendel. Time for some soul searching.

Though I’m all for no gender, that’s the feminism I was raised on. Trans people want strictly enforced gender roles: act like a stereotypical girl and you’re a girl, act like a stereotypical boy and you’re a boy. Goes against everything feminists fought for.

I’ll call you whatever you want and treat you with respect for whatever legal choices you make as an adult, but when it comes down to it you’re not a special snowflake and there are facts that we use to organise society.

Why do all the separate movements , flags and identities need highlighting by exception? I though that was the whole point of the rainbow flag that it was saying whatever your sexual orientation, size, creed, colour, religion it was embracing everyone and everything so having something different detracts from that. I don't see the need for everyone to be put into little boxes. It feels like exploitation or commercialism but I think it's just individuals deciding for others that they should tell the world exactly what they are.

Exactly

What's the point in "we want to be treated equally and the same as everybody else" and then making a point of separating yourself?

I've put an England flag up anyway. I wait now to see if I'm told to take it down ?
But I see England flags up all over Cov at the moment, so are we all commiting a crime ?

No, nobody is. It's a load of shit made up by the kind of people who spread stuff about not being allowed to call yourself English or whatever else they come out with.

Thing is, if someone wants a flag based on what they identify as, let them have a fucking flag. Simple as that.

Who gives a fuck. The flag police?
Unless it’s a nazi flag or some bollocks.
