Villa (Horrible, moany arrogant fans, still think they're a massive club, calling us "vermin felchers" and constant insults yet insisting they don't care about us and always taking the piss out of Coventry being bombed during WW2. Oh and they're our biggest rival by a country mile)

England (Much like the villa, horrible, moany arrogant fans that seem too dim witted to realise that Britain doesn't mean England, there are other fucking countries in the Union you know. But thinking that they're going to win something every two years then being heartbroken when the inevitable happens is hilarious!)

Wolves (Place is a massive shithole and that's pretty much the only time "massive" will be used to describe them, ever. Oh and pretty much been brought up to hate them due to them being the big rivals back in the day.)

Celtic (Fans are utter scum, for some reason they think they live in Ireland, support child murdering terrorists, bigots of the highest order. Sing through rememberance day silences, the club has only just caved in and started supporting the poppy appeal, much to the displeasure of their fans, sang through a minutes silence for the ibrox disaster. They get away with all of this, yet still claim everyone has an agenda against them. Celtic FC; offended by everything, ashamed of nothing.)

Birmingham (Supported by tramps and lowlifes, how they manage to convince themselves that they're a bigger club than us is beyond belief. Pathetic crowds, pathetic history, pathetic club)

Also like to mention West Brom, Man Utd, Ireland, Newcastle and Liverpool the murdering bastards.

Derby County- Stems from an older sister who hated them because they were always on midlands today/central news in the 70's maybe early 80's.
And I heard they shag sheep. (no evidence to back this up, just what I've heard)_:whistle:

Totally agree. Some of the youtube videos I've watched of them at their worst turn your stomach.

Not sure I agree with the England fans thing though. See what you're saying. But if you follow England away you'll come across some real characters - not arrogant, totally realistic in their expectations and usually quite switched on and well travelled. They tend to far outnumber the dickheads these days.

Have to say I couldn't believe it when the day after the 9/11 attacks, Celtic fans were spreading their arms out like airplane wings at an American Rangers player when he was taking a corner.

Never seen anything like it.:(

Leicester - On the whole a bunch of absolute cunts. Bar the old dog "Leicester" me and CUS met at Euro 2004. Top man.
Newcastle - By far and away the most deluded fans in all of football. Should be fucked off to the SPL.
Celtic - Horrible bunch of terrorist supporting, British hating wankers.
Crystal Palace - A shit hole of a ground, that is a pain in the arse to get to and their fans and club are completely nondescript.
MK Dons - Everything that is wrong with modern day football.

Yes, yes I did.

And my only real experience of England is what is rammed down my throat by the media. Being brought up as a Scotland fan didn't help either I suppose.

Don't listen to the media.

Think you will find the vast majority of England fans are like me and don't expect anything from the England team and expect them to fail if anything.

It's only the media who say we can 'win this' and are good enough etc.

For me it was always Wolves. My dad hated them, guess it goes back to when we got promotion. I alway remember him laughing his head off when they got relegated and singing the the Wolves are going down... happy days

Indeed.

I don't know anyone who thinks we have a chance at the Euro's yet the media will bring out the usual spiel of this is our year and the team is good enough.

Absolute bollocks.

I would say Celtic and Rangers are as bad as each other

The book Race, Sport and British Society says there was racist abuse of Celtic player Paul Wilson by Rangers fans in the 1970s: "Rangers fans repeatedly bayed 'Wilson's a Paki' when Celtic played Rangers".[96] There have been reports that some Rangers fans used to sing "I'd rather be a darkie than a Tim".[97][98][99] The book Sport and National Identity In the Post-War World says "black players in Scotland were greeted with bananas thrown from the crowd and a barrage of 'monkey grunts', notably Mark Walters of Rangers and Paul Elliott of Celtic."[99] On 2 January 1988, Rangers winger Mark Walters made his debut in the Old Firm derby match at Celtic Park. Rangers lost 2–0 and Walters was subjected to racist abuse from opposing Celtic fans who were caught on camera chanting like monkeys, throwing fruit, (mostly bananas) onto the pitch and dressing in monkey costumes.[100] It was reported that Rangers fans used "implicit racism" on the same day by singing "I'd rather be a darkie than a Tim (Celtic Fan)".[99] Although Celtic slammed the perpetrators, the Scottish Football Association remained silent.[101] According to Walters, he experienced even worse racial abuse in Edinburgh against Hearts.[96] Following racist abuse aimed at Walters, Rangers banned some of their own season ticket holders.[102] Andrew Smith from The Scotsman newspaper stated: "It is depressing to think that enforcement as much as enlightenment might account for Walters being the only black footballer in this country to have had bananas thrown at them."[100]
Rangers captain Lorenzo Amoruso issued a public apology after a match in December 1999 for making racist comments against Borussia Dortmund's Nigerian striker Victor Ikpeba.[103] In March 2003, Rangers fans were accused of racially abusing Bobo Balde and Momo Sylla.[104][105][106][107] Rangers chairman John McClelland stated that ""There was such a crescendo during Saturday's match although I thought I heard noises of this kind I can't be 100% sure."[107] In May 2004, Marvin Andrews condemned racism from some Rangers fans.[108]
In November 2004, then manager of Celtic Martin O'Neill suggested Neil Lennon was the subject of chants of a "racial and sectarian manner".[109]
During a 2007 Scottish Cup tie, St. Johnstone player Jason Scotland was the target of racist taunts by a handful of Motherwell fans. The offenders were promptly reprimanded by the spectators around them and were reported to police and match stewards.[110] Motherwell chairman John Boyle later issued an apology on behalf of the club.[111] Motherwell were to court further controversy on 3 September 2007 when Laryea Kingston of Hearts was abused, although Motherwell refuted the claims.[112]
In October 2009, Rangers player Maurice Edu said he was racially abused by some Rangers fans while leaving Ibrox after a UEFA Champions League defeat by Unirea Urziceni.[3] Edu wrote on Twitter: "Not sure what hurt more: result or being racially abused by couple of our own fans as I'm getting in my car."
Three Scottish judges ruled in June 2009 that The Famine song is racist because it targets people of Irish origin.[113][114] Peat has also stated that the SFA is determined to contribute to the eradication of offensive songs from Scottish football.[116] In November 2008, a Rangers fan was found guilty of a breach of the peace (aggravated by religious and racial prejudice) for singing The Famine Song during a game against Kilmarnock.[117] It was widely reported after an Old Firm game in February 2009 that Rangers fans had sung The Famine Song at Celtic Park.[118][119] The Famine Song was also sung in March 2011 at a Scottish football game by Rangers fans,[120][121] nevertheless, Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill described the match as a "great advert for Scottish football." [122] The Herald journalist Doug Gillon has written that "the sectarian intolerance which divides Scottish society [...] is rooted in anti-Irish racism."[123]
In February 2011, in an Old Firm match at Celtic Park a Celtic supporter was caught mocking black Rangers player El Hadji Diouf with monkey noises and gestures as he was about to take a corner kick.[124]

In April 2011, the Manager of Celtic Neil Lennon received an explosive device in the post. Brian McNally described this as due to "anti-Catholic and anti-Irish racism".[125] A number of high profile Celtic fans also were sent suspected explosive devices. Leader of the Scottish Conservative Party Annabel Goldie MSP described bullets sent to Neil Lennon and a number of Celtic players as "racism and sectarianism".[126] After an attempted assault on Neil Lennon at Hearts stadium Tynecastle, a motion against anti-Irish racism was lodged in the Scottish Parliament.[127]

Yes that is disgusting and Rangers fans singing about the Irish Famine in which a million people died is disgusting aswell. I guess people will naturally highlight the behaviour of the opposite fans to the side of the fence they sit on. I genuinely think they are both as bad as each other.

What's the Neil Lennon threats got to do with Rangers? You just assume it's Rangers because he's celtic manager, when the only guy been convicted for anything was the Hearts fan who smacked him one. Rangers are no angels but it takes a special type of bigotry to hate and abuse your own country, congratulations Celtic FC :claping hands:

Fair point but as I am British I find it abhorrent that a British club can sing and praise a terrorist organisation that has bombed and killed British citizens.

There is bigotry on both sides for sure, but it has always seemed to me that Celtic fans go that little bit further.

Things like this just aren't nice:

I am sure if I could be bothered that much I could find clips of Rangers fans taking it too far aswell.
I am guessing that you are more aligned to Rangers than Celtic which will influence your view in thinking that Celtic are worse. Then you look for clips and examples to show proof of that.
Out of interest have you done a search for Rangers fans behaving badly?

They both take it to far, it is annoying and should not take over football.

To be honest, I don't know why I got involved in this discussion, one massive can of worms. I didn't really look for that clip, I came across it a few weeks ago when looking at something else and just remembered it when this issue came up. I am sure I could find clips of Rangers fans acting in a similar way if I looked. Perhaps I am blinded by my own bias.

I agree buddy leave em all to their own ill informed uneducated hate and bigotry.

Rival supporters should be about a bit of light hearted banter a bit of a laugh, when you enter the Rangers Celtic world it becomes a lot more deeper and crazy really.

Villa - horrible club, with horrible fans. Delusions of grandeur.
Scotland - vile thugs. Delusions of grandeur. Hate England.
Liverpool - were the top team when I was a kid in the 1970s and so I had to suffer years of abuse from other kids in Cov who naturally followed Liverpool.
Leicester - closest rivals, but never really took them seriously until we were relegated.
Man Utd - see above for Liverpool.

This was the Celtic thing I was on about re 9/11.

Celtic fans taunt U.S. captain with airplane gesture

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) -- American midfielder Claudio Reyna of Glasgow Rangers was taunted by a fan imitating an airplane in a "disgusting" gesture recalling the Sept. 11 terror attacks in the United States.

"It's disgusting to think about it because of how horrible the tragedy was and how someone could stoop that low," Reyna said Monday after Rangers was beaten 2-0 by Celtic at Rangers' Ibrox stadium.

The "Old Firm" match is one of the most bitterly contested in world soccer, with the clubs divided along mostly sectarian lines -- Roman Catholics supporting Celtic and Protestants behind Rangers.

A Celtic fan made the plane gesture toward Reyna as he was taking a corner kick.

"I did honestly think about it afterward and I was surprised," Reyna told STV Scotland Today. "I thought that if anything it [the tragedy] would teach people to unite and not to act like that.

"I wouldn't care even if he had had a lot to drink, you wouldn't think that something as sick as that would come into someone's mind. If they can punish the person they should because that's pretty awful. Or they should at least point it out to the fans because it's just uncalled for."

Could you ever see a Sky Blues fan behaving like that? Guess there are twats at every club.

re Ferret's clip; Just wonder though, at what point in history did half of Glasgow cease to be part of Great Britian? Bet you a penny to a pound there were Scottish soldiers amongst the troops that day.

Unfortunately I could imagine a cov fan doing something like that. That is not a slight on Coventry it si just a fact that there is alsways one or two idiots who take things a step further and the majority disagree with them.

Its disgusting, the stupid thing is there would have been more Irish Catholics killed in that disaster than English Protestants. So he really is a fuckwit

It is like Liverpool fans singing about the Munich disaster or
Rangers fans celebrating the death of a million people in a famine

I just hope he is an idiot in the minority and does not represent Celtic as a whole

Some people seem to think when there is a rivalary that anything goes.
