Got diverted by work. That's who I would have guessed.
I remember he mostly played for the reserves, but on the rare occasions he came in, he always played very well.
His problem was trying to break into a team that already had two fantastic wingers in Rees and Humphries.

Well the good news bbr and gazolba is you don’t seem to have any signs of early onset dementia....unless this has been part of your reminiscence therapy. The picture is three or four years before I started going up the city but the names are familiar from my dad.

Yep. According to Wikipedia only played 8 games for us and scored 3 goals.
Later on he played a couple of seasons in the USA.
Same Birthday as me, December 22nd.
