Shows huge faith by Mark Robins. Happy for Max though. Whilst he may not be the most prolific goalscorer, his work rate last season was second to none.

I can see there being a few like this based on promotion and terms in contracts.

he scored some absolute belters & definitely grew into the season, as others have said im surprised to see such a long extension... wonder if that was written into previous contract if promotion was gained, or if the club see a rising asset that they just wanted to tie down on longer terms

Maybe with a full pre season Robins see's him as long term Mcnultys replacement.

Good news though. I think he might surprise one or two on here this season.

Think he's a completely different type of player to McNulty.

Saying that, if we just wanted to use wings and then get balls into the box he might score more than he did this season.

I think he'll get into double figures next season, just need a couple more to do the same and we "should" be ok!

Seems strange for me and kelly also, if we are seriously looking to progress out of this league neither are good enough for championship football and we don’t really know how good they will Be in league one.. would have been 2 years maximum for me to be honest

You have to look at Biamou and understand that up until last year he was only training 1 day a week as a part time footballer. He's a different player from when he started last season and and has improved massively. If he improves slightly on where he finished last season then I think he'll do very well for us this season.

Is this a deliberate ploy by MR to upset Grendel so he decides to move on and abuse players, who he claims to support from another club?

or it could just mean that when we get promoted to the premiership in 2 years & these players might not be quite at that level, we will be able to sell them on to reading, down there in league 2 , for a fee rather than the players being able to just go to them on a free because their contract just expired ( like a couple of shresburys players just did ;)
