Dunno about three pens. Still not sure if our pen was a penalty.

But I agree he was shocking. A right homer.

From what I saw, whoever took platt out first half should of at least been booked let alone sent off.
Also with the pen, surely that's a red?

He lunged in, caught the man when he didn't have the ball?
Whether he would get to the ball or not you can't catch anyone, anywhere on the pitch without if being a foul?

No, the defender past the ball back to the keeper and caught nimely in his follow through. Nimely never touched the ball and would never have got on the end of it. I didn't think it was a foul or a pen. I'd have been livid if he'd have given it against us.

Clingan must have thought so too, how sporting of him.

probert is reactive, & has never been shown to be proactive,
in considering that this was a local derby, he should, and could have cut out the problems,
i've viewed his performances in many games & have seen him an awful lot,
good ref's get control, respect, from the very start, & are never really noticed,
probert however seems to exude the aspect of 'i'm the man in the middle',
a lack of understanding, & worryingly easily affected by the crowd,
not a good ref for me,
only a personal view, i'd hate to see him take it out on us in the future,
