VAR for corners? (1 Viewer)

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this but why not VAR for corners? England had two cast iron corners denied by a blind linesman in the Croatian game and given that they were a potent weapon for us it's little decisions like this that can make the difference, small margins and all that.

That one was ridiculous. I could quite clearly see in real time that the ball had gone over the line and the linesman was saying no. When you saw the replay it was even more blatantly obvious.

There was a throw in too and the ball clearly went out and the linesman said no it hadn't and Croatia broke away on the counter attack.

Yes and these replays are shown so quickly it's not a problem for keeping the game flowing - you see it in rugby all the time e.g. did he have his foot in touch etc.

Infuriating when a promising position is denied.
