He should go as he plays first team men’s football rather than pissing about in the youth or reserve teams at prem clubs as you can see in the checkatrade how good that football must be
You missed Accrington thenWhat a great talent he is. I hope he performs this year. Every game I’ve seen him, even on his off days, he’s shown flashes of brilliance.
Why can’t we be that top championship club ?I didn’t really get to see Callum Wilson, as did t go to Northampton, but having seen madison come through ( who did look like he had that bit of quality that would take him to the premier as he grew ) I have to say this guy excites more... fearless, quality and strong on the ball, and just more direct! Which defenders hate. not afraid to have a pop either
Hope he spends a couple more seasons with us , where hopefully we’ll get promoted and be in with a shot of keeping him, but realistically a premier / top championship side is likely to want to get him in the next 12 months
That’s why I said hopefully we will get promoted and keep him...Why can’t we be that top championship club ?
I was actually thinking of Accrington when I commented!! He did a bit of skill, a few step-overs or something, by the touch line, which completely bamboozled their player. I turned to the person sitting next to me and said...”different class”. Then went back to shouting obscenities at everything else. That game and the one before against FGR nearly tipped me over the edge. I was like Michael Palin in that episode of ‘Ripping Yarns’ when I got home. You missed Accrington then
You went home, chatted about shovels, while your Dad pretended to be French?I was actually thinking of Accrington when I commented!! PS
Sorry for the obscure reference.

MondayWhen’s it announced?
Seems fair. It’s interesting to see how he’d get in the team thoughIn negotiation about the contract with us but wants to stay.
His agent trying to get him a bit more money?
Tom Bayliss has confirmed his intention to be a Coventry City player next season.
Doyle, Shipley??? Pinning a lot of hopes on 3 players returning from major injury...and a loanee!Seems fair. It’s interesting to see how he’d get in the team though
Agogo and Kelly likely midfield pairing
Andreu likely 10
Jones / Sterling likely right midfield
Bayliss ???
Pinning a lot of hopes????????Doyle, Shipley??? Pinning a lot of hopes on 3 players returning from major injury...and a loanee!
Stokes didnt...Pinning a lot of hopes????????
Footballers have injuries and they come back from them. No reason to think they won’t be fine.
Who do you think will start in midfield?
Agogo and Kelly surely?
Wow well we’ll see. Most doStokes didnt...
Doyle is our captain, will probably have remained the fittest over off-season. He has to start.
Actually his agent is one of the better onesHe's off then.
great news for him!! am I right in saying us and Ipswich are the only clubs outside the premiership with a player in the squad.
Sunderland have a player in as well.great news for him!! am I right in saying us and Ipswich are the only clubs outside the premiership with a player in the squad.
Midfielders: Tom Bayliss (Coventry City), Elliot Embleton (Sunderland), Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Nya Kirby (Crystal Palace), Adam Lewis (Liverpool), Max Sanders (Brighton & Hove Albion), Marcus Tavernier (Middlesbrough), Kelland Watts (Newcastle United)Who else is there for centre mid that Bayliss has competition with to get a start?
At least him and Sterling will be match fit for the season!
