Good player but seems very injury prone. Apparently he hasn’t kicked a ball pre season and has only been able to train for one session so far. Think he missed loads of games for MK last season and when they signed him it was of the back of a long term injury.

Aneke is one of those, when in the mood can probably play high end championship. When not in the mood, conf North. He's a luxury player but christ i want him to sign

Would be a fantastic signings, but not sure who we'd play out of Doyle, Agogo, Andreu, Bayliss, Aneke, Shipley and Kelly

We've got a lot of really good midfielders now, so many I actually think we will struggle to keep them all happy.

This could be a good signing but then will we have too many central midfielders?

Was very highly rated at Arsenal but never made the grade. Would love him to sign, no idea where he'd play but still.

Scored 13 in 46 appearances since 2016, so that ain’t too bad is it ? I love this type of centre midfielder, big gangly awkward in the Patrick Viera, Ya Ya Toure mould apart from being good players create space for others to play.

Or maybe big, gangly and awkward in the Kwame Thomas mould.

Looks a unit and very awkward to play against but got a great awareness to set chances up ohhhhh exciting times ahead maybe...In Robins we trust again?

Would be surprised if we managed to pull this one off. A number of Championship sides have shown interest according to Twitter rumblings. Saying that, Pompey seem to be front of the queue though at the minute and I'd like to think we could compete with them. However, where does that leave Chaplin? Although Aneke's primary position is CAM, he has played up front as well...
