Were clearly the better side , even from the highlights you can see it without even having to go to the game , such a shame we got nothing from today

What is going on, on Virgin?

Picture all over the place.

Ah, that's better.

I’ve missed this somewhere I guess, but do we know why Robins went with O’Brien? Does anyone else think that O’Brien went down too early for the first goal, made it easy for the forward? If he’d stood, the ball would have hit him.

I was of they opinion previously that there wasn't that much between the two keepers, but now have to admit Burge is better.

Yep. Forward had it all to do plus he looked a donkey on first half showing. O brien basically showed him the middle of the goal

Yeah it’s bizarre when you watch it back, why does O’Brien fall over before the striker even pulls the trigger? Burge would’ve saved that (most keepers in the league would’ve saved that).

Piss poor defending for that first goal, it looked like men against boys!

We were caught on the counter and running back slightly out of position. There was a clear foul, a push in the chest, for them to gain possession which is not shown. It is actually a great ball ball through from their midfielder splitting our defenders for their no 10 to run onto. He has then finished it well.

O'Brien is nowhere near good enough, I said so all of last season yet people were convinced he's better than Burge, it's bizarre.

Sterling was poor for both goals, perhaps he is going to be more effective higher up the pitch than right back.

The striker did well, but why did no one put a challenge in?
Why did it look like he was Hussain bolt, while our two players looked like they were running through quick sand?

Because the pass is on the diagonal across the back of our centre back taking him out of the game and their no 10 has got between Stirling and the ball making it difficult for him to challenge. If anything O'Brien went to ground too easily.

Once Bayliss was pushed off the ball we were caught badly out of shape. It was a great through ball making it difficult for the defenders who had their backs to the ball and running back towards their own goal. It's easier for the player running onto the ball.

I’ve watched it back a dozen times, and can’t believe Mason didn’t get a challenge in.

The highlights on YouTube show the foul I the build up. Very poor anticipation from Sterling. Keeper too very slow off his line.

Even if Bayliss wasn't fouled for the first goal, but was muscled off it I don't blame him particularly. His biggest strength is the way he bursts through the opposition midfield and breaks defensive lines. The nature of that type of player is that they will get tackled and lose possession on occasions, but it is a balanced risk whereby the possible positive outcome outweighs the negative. In this instance he lost the ball about 15 yards into the opposition half and with all our defenders still behind him. It wasn't like he was caught dribbling out from his own penalty area. From losing possession they should have still had lot to do to score, but unfortunately our defence, and Sterling particularly were not switched on and allowed there one man to get the wrong side of them. As has also been said elsewhere O'Brien also went down a bit early, making it an easier finish for their forward.

I don't know what Sterling was doing for first goal looks like he could have got a tackle in was very weak and looks like he bottled it.
He was not in my start xi but someone put he wont drop 26 leagues to sit on the bench...which was a slight exagerration
Maybe he needs to after that display of defending he needs a good game next week if he starts.

O brien is always slow off his line. Remember Accrington at home where that Jackson was through down dke side, really narrow and 27,000 screamed him to come out and you could almost see him rabbit in the headlights just stand his feet in. It was painful. He's not good enough for league 1 hence the fact Eastleigh wanted him
