You forgot the " see you Jimmy "I think Sunderland fans fell into shocked silence the second they got to their seats, looked up and saw an enlarged Jimmy Hill's face staring right back at them from the North Stand.
Shame we're not a Scottish club. Then at the bars in the mall you'd have all the beer servers asking ''What can I do for you, Jimmy'? And ''What about you Jimmy, what would you like'? 'That'll be £6.50, Jimmy'. 'Thanks, Jimmy'.
There was a reporter guy on talk sport this afternoon, who also is a sunderland fan saying that they completely out sung the Cov support on Saturday. I nearly crashed my lorry laughing.
Good support from Pompey tonight, granted it's a lot easier for everyone to sing when you're 1-up.
Made a fair amount of noise, but the majority of the songs they sang were shite, sounded more like a brass band playing.
Fairly sure play up pompey isnt stolen...Yep, typical generic songs. I don't think they sing a song that another club hasn't invented.
We're lucky to have Play up Sky Blues.

The Pompey Chimes song goes back many decades. Can't see how they could have nicked it from anybody...Stole it from Southampton.

Thought we stole ours from Berkshire?....
Not the point I'm getting at.
PUSB is a to a tune no one else uses and has lyrics totally different to others. There aren't many clubs like it who use a unique song. Norwich 'on the ball' and Birmingham 'Keep Right on' are unique examples.
Chelsea and Arsenal are the worst for it. They do not have a proper club anthem and all their songs are generic.
Yes, I understood. Are Norwich and Brum like us: everyone joins in on the first verse but can't be asked about the second?
