If you don't report something within a reasonable time, you should lose the right to.

I understand where you are coming from but at the time of the alleged attack the environment was very different to what it is now. Women were nowhere near as empowered then as they are now. That’s how people like Jimmy Saville and Harvey Weinstein were able to get away with it or get away with it for so long.
