Terrible scenes and it seems unlikely that it will end without loss of life. Truly sad.
The Thai owners have been brilliant for Leicester City.

Vice chairman and director of football not on board according to sky sources
Terrible that!
Twitter is going to be full of people claiming their distress. Fair enough BUT do you know what really grinds my gears?
When people put..."From a United fan" or "...and I'm a City fan" like it's some heroic thing to overstep the football rivalry thing. Another horrific instance of a bad situation that people will flood social media in search of 'likes' and "Yes that is terrible but look at ME. Please give me attention"
Fuck off.
I'm sure there'll be some 'innocent banta' about it on Twitter and Facebook.Think any normal human will see it puts football into perspective. Will just be the random WUMs.
Is it official now?Owner was onboard apparently, club have now announced.
Hope rival fans will be respectful.
There was nothing wrong with the engine. It was the tail rotor.I have a personal rule that I will never fly in anything with one engine.
Just got that off an update off the Beeb site a few hours ago.Is it official now?
I think you’re being harsh there.
There’s nothing wrong with showing compassion from other teams fans. And nothing wrong with saying things like ‘shocking....hope all is ok. From a Cov fan’.
Easy to assume comments are for likes but sometimes things transcend football rivalries and it’s ok to show compassion from the other side.

As a coventry fan I agreeSorry, to clarify - i've no problem with other fans saying stuff but why add in who you support? Who cares? It's not about you.
Dont even get me started on peoples urgent need to post anything on social media when stuff like this happens. "Must rush to Twitter to heap up my thoughts and prayers" fuck off.
But surely don't people say 'from a Cov fan' or 'from a Man U fan' to show solidarity and universal support and to show we are all in it together?Sorry, to clarify - i've no problem with other fans saying stuff but why add in who you support? Who cares? It's not about you.

Depends if it's heartfelt or not.Jesus christ. If this isn't for like I dont know what is.
Again, nothing wrong with the sentiment but why?
But surely that's a sweeping generalisation. It's not heartwarming to me it's the bare bloody minimum. Otherwise it sounds like "usually I have an irrational childlike hatred of you even though I don't know you because the team of people you pay to watch aim for a different net. But hey wait one of your guys died time to press football faaaaamily button"
It's stand with Paris, smile for Bradley, Alfie's army, like if you hate cancer slacktivism
"Thoughts and prayers" utterly meaningless shite.Sorry, to clarify - i've no problem with other fans saying stuff but why add in who you support? Who cares? It's not about you.

Not changing your profile pic then?"Thoughts and prayers" utterly meaningless shite.
Tbh it's a mega rich foreigner who runs a football club, it doesn't really bother me and it's not really a football loss as such.
But surely don't people say 'from a Cov fan' or 'from a Man U fan' to show solidarity and universal support and to show we are all it it together?
I have no problems with it at all myself.
Must be heartwarming to Leicester fans if Derby and Forest fans are sending their condolences and all the other clubs' fans from around the country.
Thoughts and prayers winds me up. Bad enough Americans using it all the time but it seems to have caught on over here."Thoughts and prayers" utterly meaningless shite.
At first they wouldn't even say if he was on board, today we got that he was on board but have stopped short of saying if he died in the accident or not or who else was on board
Bit isn't it just the same as people saying rest in peace? People just say it as a matter of course even if they don't know the person.Thoughts and prayers winds me up. Bad enough Americans using it all the time but it seems to have caught on over here.
Some awful stuff. I reported one tweet. But 99.9% sympathy.I'm sure there'll be some 'innocent banta' about it on Twitter and Facebook.
I'm going to register as Purple Bin to express my sorrow from a Coventry FanOn the Leicester forum loads of fans from other teams have signed up simply to post messages passing on their thoughts and good wishes. They're hardly likely to want to fish for likes of FoxesTalk, much more likely they wish to genuinely express themselves. Yes it may be meaningless in terms of what difference it'll make but some Leicester fans on there seemed genuinely pleased that fans from Leeds, Derby, Liverpool, Man U, Rangers, Celtic etc has been in touch. It's like sending a 'in sympathy card's to someone whose family member has died.
"Can't stop thinking about ...... insert tragedy here" really affected me.
1 hour later taking doggy ear selfies in pub, no longer affected
Thing that really annoys me, who thinks to create a Twitter account pretending to be a news source to make things up
There's always one. Some awful stuff. I reported one tweet. But 99.9% sympathy.
