Shame they haven’t been given permission by Cov to produce one...

Strange, who was it at the club who said no?

Who did you email?

Bit strange though to get an email along the lines of "there's no poppy badge because we didn't give permission...."

I emailed The British Legion to ask if there would be a Coventry City Edition and they replied with the info....I never said I emailed the club....

They specifically said the club had refused permission when asked?

Jesus Christ what is this? LOL

Yes they specifically said the club had refused permission......is that ok with the Skyblue Talk police?

It's fine. Just that I spoke to somebody at the club who said they haven't heard anything about it and had no reason to refuse it as they always work with them.

As there are only 7 League One Clubs listed, it would be strange for 17 others to all reject it after Poppies and Football are usually linked quite well.

Was just trying to see where the issue lay before starting a rant, that's all ;)

I haven't said you haven't.

If you forward it to Mark Hornby he will speak with them direct, if not he has said he will get in touch with the contact from last time when he can :)

Was just trying to see what had happened before it ends up that the club are burning poppies at Ryton or something. That's all.

Done.

I thought there was no restriction on using our badge? That's why they came up with the terrible badge years ago that they had to backtrack on as they were trying to get something new they could have copyright on.

Was just to reduce printing costs I thought.

There’s a bloke that stands with a cork board with badges as you walk up towards the Tesco stand from under the bridge, maybe he’ll have some
