Why is it going down? The past can always be viewed with rose tinted glasses but I would be interested to understand what is worse about the uk now than years gone by.
Some people have been intolerant of each other for years, look at the endless wars, this will never change but we all have a part to play in understanding our differences, be more accepting of the right behaviour and addressing the wrong type in an appropriate matter.
A cheat is a cheat regardless of being white, Muslim, Nigerian, David Warner or anything else. The same for rapists, murderers or even good people, we don’t need to assign them to a country or religion we just need to accept them for what they have done, good or bad.

As for TR, he has a view, he has followers, like with all beliefs, I can only hope that they open their eyes to all the information available and not be blinded by a singular viewpoint.

I love this country, just look around at the many great things that surround you daily, if you focus always on the negative then it will drive you mad and make you very angry, don’t get me wrong, there are things that need to improve, I’m not wearing those glasses, but don’t let it overtake your life with a sweeping statement that everything is fucked, it’s not, it just needs some modification.

I’ve given this up, but one more time, for you, for free: my lesson on interpreting bias in sources.

1) Check who published it. Can anyone publish or is there an editorial process? Are they bound by any code of ethics? What’s the domain name?
2) What motivations does this person have for making you feel a certain way about the topic? Can you find an alternate source without that bias or an opposing one?
3) Triangulation. How many places does this appear? Does it all have similar biases or is it from a range of viewpoints?

This is a video by Tommy Robinson, on the Tommy Robinson channel. There ain’t enough salt in the sea for that source.

As an aside, I watched his Oxford Union debate and thought he came across well and can see where his anger comes from. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s a lying twat who rinses idiots for cash online by feeding their fears though.

so your saying he can’t put his side of the story in the public domain? if he didn’t talk sense no one would listen. he sees the world like many of us. a world where white working class people are the enemy. Working class people are being treated like shit while others (the Syrian girl prime example) getting sympathy which is quite seriously embarrassing

He goes on about immigrants but he was an illegal immigrant in the US.
He goes on about grooming gangs, but look at how many of his close associates from his time in the EDL have been done for sexual offences including offences against minors.

Is he talking sense, or just repeating what some people want to hear because their lives aren't what they want them to be and want someone to blame?

Working class people are treated unfairly, but do you know who by more than anyone? White non-working class people.

Like the Trump brigade, Look to blame anyone who looks/sounds different to them but their biggest threat are people who look just like them. The US government is responsible for far more deaths of American citizens than all other groups combined. Cancer, heart attacks etc kill more people in America each year than every terror attack by a foreigner combined. You could have had a 9/11 scale disaster every year since the USA was formed and still not get close. And much of the cause of this is poor regulation and legislation so people with shit loads of money can make some more. But ask the thick fuckers what to do and they say spend billions of fighter jets and destroyers, or walls, but say healthcare and that's an individual responsibility, not the state's.Even though a lot of the time it's because of the state they need the healthcare in the first place.

Not really as I don't usually refer to myself in the third person but other people do. Not normally both but either Dave, obviously my real name, or chief, a nickname people have used for years which started as there was too many Daves on one job I was on so we all got given nicknames.

Don't really see how thats that same as going by a fake name.

Lol your telling me 1000’s of edl members were done for grooming? There were 2 if i remember correctly? Yet 1000’s of Muslims been done for grooming inc cov. Whose more of threat to our kids? As for USA did you hear what happened there? yet we have a British woman in Syria sticking up for isis and idiots on here having sympathy for her. can’t write this shit

Their were more than 2 and one of his closest associates was a sex case and he defended him until he started getting criticsed by his far right supporters and he distanced himself from him, (think his surname was Price).
I hate sex offenders regardless of their colour or back ground.
And I have no sympathy for the women in Syria, see my comments in the thread about her.
