Messi.....Fabregas.....:D

We have options now because of our loan players. Saying that, it looked to me as though on Weds we had nearly gone back to the diamond formation during the second half  Must have been imagining it as I have read on here hundreds of times that the formation does not work.

But if we did it this year, would it be comparable? It would be a pretty big achievement to escape this year!

It'd be the biggest City escape i've witnessed. I don't recall our owners in 85, 97 or any other year completely ripping the squad apart.

What an achievement it would be.

Tomorrow is huge. I'm bricking it. See us losing.

Cm,let it go,it was years ago.

It's not an irrational grudge, valiant.

There are so many questions about our current circumstances, and so much of it does go back to the Richardson regime. Like, look at the example Rich posted: yes, it's true, Richardson did not allow the squad to thin out in the same way that SISU has, but it came at the cost of a stadium (long-term revenue) and £60m of debt. We have to be honest when assessing/comparing regimes.

Compared to 83 this is a picnic as for 85 I assume to be comparable to all have to chip in get the Southampton squad pissed the night before and beat them 4 - 1.

Considering this season though we have no real manager it would be a miracle I agree there is no precedent for that.

Yes, it was years ago, V. However, we're still suffering from what the prick Richardson did to this club.
