Sadly I'm not talking about an attractive lady who sells tickets...

Me + 3 are looking to go to the game on Friday and it seems as if the 'non-premium' tickets are restricted to almost nowhere. Is this right?

14-16 won't let you buy tickets as there's restrictions there. Block 23-24 are families only. Block 17 looks to be the only one where you could purchase the cheaper tickets, but there is no availability for 4 together.

Have they really set things up like this?

I'm not going to purchase a 6 game pack for me and 3 other friends who barely go just so we can save a couple of quid for a one off game, although I see where you're coming from.

The corner looks to be just season tickets (and possibly packages).

Then you have 2 spare for the season. :)

If a couple of quid doesn't matter, just let the site auto pick the tickets

Just buy 4, they don't need to be together as you can move about as you like outside of Block 14 and 15. I can count on one hand the number of times I've needed to sit in my allocated seat at the Ricoh,

There is that as well.

As long as you just mind your own business and wait until the game has kicked off you can easily find 4 together. Or if you have sat in somebody elses seat just move back a row :)

Just gone all out and purchased some bad boy tickets in block 20. Couldn't be arsed to dick around for the sake of a couple of quid any longer.

Get ready for some pint throwing!

The safety group have kicked off again and put more restrictions in place for Friday. Not sure there's any reason other than to annoy our fans.

They are completely clueless and have no idea how to actually do their job and keep people safe, hence the issues they caused at the Sunderland game with their ridiculous routing of fans.

Are their decisions published anywhere?

Interesting Dave.

It seems to me a lot of these restrictions might be in place just to limit the amount of fans that can buy the cheaper tickets. There literally is only one block you can buy them in, and the demand there is obviously pretty big.

Or I'm just being over the top and the safety group are quite literally idiots!

Does seem overzealous by whoever is overseeing this. I am sure they have their reasons, but as long as somebody is not sitting in your seat, it shouldn't be an issue?

I've a concession 12 match package call them of when I go usually the day before went on the site yesterday and because it a single seat I am booking the site only offers you the single seats left looked in block 17 as other blocks are for families fair enough they'did not open blocks 16 15 or 14 as I thought was going to happen on match days only offered me 1 seat in the covered part the rest were open to the elements .Get into the ground plenty of space under cover .I've supported them for 60 years + but because I go on my own now( Jonney no mates) I don't get to see the full range of seats unfair

It's a disgrace really. The corner is half empty, especially now the screen has gone.

The atmosphere was great last night, but on the whole it has been worse this season. The regulars from the corner have had to move to block 17 and 18.

Its ridiculous, the matchday experience gets worse by the week and there's nothing the club can do about it.

People employed by the club who were good at their jobs and knew what they were doing have been replaced by people who have no idea how to manage a football crowd and whose primary concern seems to be making it an unenjoyable experience.
