No chance, the only people who agree with the trust's viewpoint are those that don't go to games and sit on Facebook, getting news from the trust and telegraph shouting "SISU OUT NOPM" at any opportunity

No. It appears to reflect the views of a few board members above the collective view of City supporters. A few self serving statements is all it appears to deliver.

If you look at the twitter accounts of some of the board members its just them, the chap behind the Jimmy Hill Way (who even Supporters Direct said was too extreme and needed to be distanced from the trust) and Armybike (remember him?) telling each other they're right and everyone else is wrong.

I would show you the link to the one spouting off about views on here being irrelevant and not representing city fans but he deleted his account when he had no idea how to back up what he was on about.

Surely the minimum requirement for being a board member of the supporters trust should be to have a season ticket. Not hard to have supporters doing the job is it?

This. Some good blokes on there. The charity quiz event and stuff is good work. But it's all the rest of it. That statement for example. Appeared on Kev Monks' site hours before it appeared on their Facebook page and Twitter feed. I'm not really sure what exactly they do or how they consult their members. Hell, I'm still not too sure if I am a member. When they asked for protest ideas, I suggested red and green scarves similar to what Man It's fans were doing with the Glaziers. Simple and everyone can do it. No response. They come across as more of a SISU out pressure group than anything else.

Re that scarves thing, I also suggested it. Was a good idea at the time.
I mentioned it in another thread that I spoke for ages to Steve who was there and he was happy to engage and discuss things even if he disagreed with views etc. I have also spoken to CJ who will discuss things and try his best but I think once it gets past them it hits a brick wall.
I feel sorry for them. Also, Moz does help the Family Zone every week at games / parties etc

I think the Trust do represent the views of most fans, but the views of most fans aren't (always) necessarily what we need the Trust to represent.

I now work most Saturdays. When I had a season ticket it was a struggle to go as seeing the empty seat next to me where my Grandad used to sit was too much. I couldn’t handle it so I ended up giving the ST away. As I don’t have a ST anymore I spend the money (and more on top) buying tickets for families of the kids I teach that can’t afford to go instead. Sorry if that makes me unsuitable for the role I hold.

All valid reasons for not having a season ticket and fair play to you for getting ticket for others to go but I think the point still stands that it isn't unreasonable to expect the board of supporters to be made of up season ticket holders.

Have tried to point out in the comments about you, Moz and Steve before you across the 2 threads. Feel a bit uncomfortable that you get thrown in to reply and justify things when I very much doubt any of the stuff is actually aimed at you.
How about you set up your own Trust ?
I am actually interested in your view on doing so.

Just look at the all the other groups that have come about recently, L&W, N&B, the London group, LGBT etc. all positive fan engagement, events, working with the club and PUTTING THEIR NAME ON A STATEMENT ABOUT GETTING US A HOME!!!

Just feel it's a bit unfair that you end up sort of being the face of the "shite" that gets thrown when I doubt any of the "digs" are really even intended for you personally. Why are the other board members unwilling to engage?
Saw it the other day when somebody gave it loads and had no idea how to back it up.
Don't come on here much anymore as not worth the hassle.
Just want to point out that I am not on the Trust Board, however I go to meetings when I can and fully support the Sky Blue Trust and what they stand for.
