Hull manager Nick Barmby may decide to make some changes after his side's third successive defeat in midweek.
Midfielder Corry Evans and striker Aaron Mclean are available while forward Jay Simpson is hoping to make a start after coming on as a substitute.
Coventry's Nathan Cameron remains a doubt for the trip to the KC Stadium after the defender suffered an injury.
Carl Baker (hamstring), Hermann Hreidarsson (shoulder), Richard Wood (knee) and David Bell (knee) are out.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head
• Hull have won 18 and Coventry 15 of their 42 competitive matches against each other over 92 years, with nine drawn.
• Former Manchester United midfielder Corry Evans scored the only goal in this season's league clash at the Ricoh Arena, to take Hull's unbeaten sequence against the Sky Blues to five; winning the last two.
• Coventry may have scored 50 goals all-time against Hull, but they have failed to find the net in each of their last four meetings.

• Just one win in 10 games has seen Hull lose their play-off place, and drop to ninth.
• They are eager to avoid a fourth successive league defeat - which would be their worst sequence under Nick Barmby.
• The Tigers only have 10 players on their Championship goalscorers list, having scored fewer goals by any club outside the bottom four (38). They have won eight games 1-0, and have participated in six goalless stalemates.
Coventry City
• Coventry are third bottom, one point from safety, having followed four successive draws with last Saturday's 2-0 victory over rock-bottom Portsmouth. The five-match stint is their longest unbeaten sequence of this league season.
• But only five of the Sky Blues' 35 points have come on their travels, and they only have four more opportunities to avoid going through the entire season without a win on the road.
• They are in danger of suffering their 500th defeat in second level league football.

Team news ahead of the Championship clash between Hull and Coventry at the KC Stadium on Saturday.

Hull will be without Robert Koren and Joe Dudgeon. Midfielder Koren has missed the last two matches and is not expected back in contention until the middle of next month while defender Dudgeon was forced out of the midweek defeat at Portsmouth with a similar problem.

Manager Nick Barmby has no other new injury or suspension problems but could make changes after seeing his side's play-off challenge stall in recent weeks.

The Tigers have won only one of their last 10 matches and the Portsmouth loss was their third successive defeat.

Midfielder Corry Evans and striker Aaron Mclean are pushing for recalls after starting on the bench on Tuesday night and another forward, Jay Simpson, made his first appearance for Hull since early January as a second-half substitute.

Barmby's side, ninth in the table, could climb back into the top six with victory.

Nathan Cameron remains a doubt for Coventry. The defender missed last weekend's massive 2-0 victory over relegation rivals Portsmouth due to a knock and faces a race against time to be available at the KC Stadium as the Sky Blues aim to climb out of the bottom three.

Chris Hussey came in to replace Cameron and put in a solid display despite playing through the pain barrier as he delays surgery on his left ankle.

David Bell (knee) hopes to return to full training next week with a view to being available to face Peterborough, but Carl Baker (hamstring), Hermann Hreidarsson (shoulder) and Richard Wood (knee) remain absent.

Midfielder Gael Bigirimana replaced Conor Thomas at half-time against Pompey and is firmly in contention for a starting berth after an impressive performance.

Apparently this will be the Hull line up. There for the taking imo. Only Fryatt sticks out as a danger man:

Mannone
Rosy Hobbs Cooper Dawson
Brady TC Evans King
Fryatt Simpson

Let's have a little game of "Guess When". I reckon the first time we read something like "we are shit", "we deserve to go down", "thorn out" or "the players just aren't up for it" will be around 3.27.

Well, most of the Thorn detractors never seem to go to away games; so, sitting with their laptop on the knee, a cup of Nescafé on one hand and evaluating events via CWR's interpretation, there's scope for much earlier than that. I'll go with 3.11

...and if we win 3 nil it will be 'world beaters'... 'bring it on'.... 'thorn's a genius'

but that's the fickleness of 'fans. '

Can't call this today. It's one of those that can start and go either way or even a bore all the way!

What we must do is get on the front foot right from the off to give ourselves the opportunity to maybe do well by putting them on the back foot and put seeds of doubt into their recent form. If we don't then it will be a long afternoon...

I'm at work, so can't hear any commentary. What's happening?

Westwood' s replacement makes a brilliant save from Fryatt.
Another good save from Brady! Suddenly can't clear their lines.
