I love Brighton, went for the first time this year, great place, great atmosphere.
Loved all those independant quirky little shops.
Wandered around having a few quite beers soaking up the atmosphere listenting to the sea thinking to myself what a top place. Then this horrendous bright pink Rangerover pulled up beside me. The reg was something like KP LEO.
Yes you guessed it a big bitted brain dead plastic bint go out and completely ruined the moment.

Sorry a bit off the subject and not very football fan type of talk.

True-it's a cracking little city with a lot to offer. As much as I like living here, off topic is the place for it however ;)

were all aware of your posts mate, dont need a warning first

Someone having a different view point to you, does not make them a WUM. Instead of just posting that enter the debate in the spirit it is meant. That does not mean getting involved in slinging insults, like some of your other posts I have noticed on here. I am not interested in that rubbish or who started it. I have spoken to both nick and kduffy on PM. My post was not a WUM. I genuinely hope their opinion on AT is changing and that they may now think AT is the right man for the job.

Come on; AT was a manager with no experience. I suspect this was at the root of all the negative comments. He is obviously gaining the experience "on the job" and thankfully seems to be learning from his mistakes.

This is a key point. ALSO, what doesn't break you makes you stronger. So, I suppose we should be grateful to the AT detractors.

Their criticism was unjust, ill-conceived and impatient but it has only made Thorn stick it back to them.:pointlaugh::pointlaugh::pointlaugh::pointlaugh::pointlaugh::pointlaugh::claping hands::claping hands::claping hands::claping hands:

Cutting one's managerial teeth at ccfc under Sisu must have appeared impossibly difficult particularly in light of so much unjustified carping......he'll probably get a better offer somewhere else in the summer and I wouldn't begrudge him that.

We are not safe yet though?

It just proves that AT does have the players to get results so why wasn't he before? Everybody was saying how poor the team are so we would never get results and I said the team is good enough but they are being managed wrongly. Now they are being managed well they are getting results....

I am not sure why by being negative about him was impatient? He is now making the changes he should have been back in September and has the players fired up like they should have been then. I am the first to admit he is doing a good job now, the same as he was doing a bad job earlier on...

I don't think he did have the players earlier in the season, our results have turned around since Nimely and Norwood came in and since Clarke regained fitness, all three of those have mad our shape look completely different than it was before they were playing.

OMG, I give up. The team that played yesterday is quite different from the one that played at the beginning of the season, both in terms of SHAPE, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONNEL.

It is probably also different in terms of fitness and confidence, but I'll let that go.

AT has Stickability and an unshakeable belief in his core principles. Thank fuck for that.

Eventually, in every walk of life, you cannot waver to be successful. That is what matters.

so thorn publically lambasting hussey after west ham away defeat and then subsquently dropping him,was that a master stroke too considerng how great we are when hes in the team?

regarding the OP,i thnk thorn is coming on leaps and bounds, just like you say the squad is different to the start of the season so is our manager
