the offset of this is that beat peterboro and b city and we are safe - i know both games are winnable, but that would be 4 wins in a row, which is also unlikely

i can see a win v peterboro and a defeat v bristol - which would leave us more or less as we are going into the last 4

I know it states the bleeding obvious, but we could really do with ensuring we don't lose at Bristol. A win against Peterborough and a draw at Bristol - provided they lose at Forest - open up a 4 point gap in our favour; and keep our momentum too. Psychologically huge then taking into the 4 games thereafter

The good thing for us is that Bristol play Forest next week. Forest are 6 points ahead of Bristol, so this is a match Forest cannot lose. Defeat and the gap will be down to 3 points. Victory and they would be 9 points clear.

Forest will surely be up for this one. Think it might well be a draw, but both teams will be looking for the win and that has to be good news for the City as you would say the odds have to be with Forest, whose form of late has been vastly superior to that of Bristol's.

Agree, the win at bristol would open up a 7 point gap with 4 to go. With our goal difference they would have to win 3 of the last 4 to overhaul us, it could be a cracking easter weekend.

That is 42 points for them and I had us finishing on 46 points with 2 home wins and home draw and an away point at Bristol. Even if they beat us we would stay up on GD according to my predictions

Exactly. Not many people would have had us down to beat Hull 0-2, so trying to guess anybody elses results is more or less meaningless. Lets go out and win first and then Forest-Bristol will be a far more enjoyable experience.

Sadly you are right. But relegation fights are part and parcel of the Sky Blues. One former chairman likened being in mid table as being on holiday in the Bahamas. That said I would much rather be safe from relegation by now than have the worry right to the wire. More like terrifying than exciting!
