Today we looked a class above the opposition at one stage 76% possession - (read the Plymouth fans site) We are not far off a top side as Robins keeps on saying - Plymouth are in the bottom tier but their results have improved of late - at times it was like watching a championship team (Cov) against a league one team - We just need to turn this impressive football into goals - We will beat someone heavily shortly but we need to build on that and be consistent in front to goal

We're a much better side than last season. However, we are lacking the McNulty.

I agree we’re playing some fantastic stuff under Robins. He’s really building a great team. Very impressed today by Andabacardi (or whatever his name is)

Plymouth fans I've spoken to said he was very classy.

Down the middle he looked a threat throughout.

Pressure on Robins to deliver play-offs/promotion next season. Don't wanna go up this year, just important we keep on improving.

We are playing good football, but being cynical we should have been doing that from game one. We have good technical players, yet we’re only just starting to use them. I’m also concerned that Thomas, Sterling, Bright, potentially Bayliss, who are key to that style of football and technically superior won’t be here next season, so we need to take advantage this season.

Despite spending £1 million on strikers, we are one striker away from being a very strong L1 team.

We won't beat anyone heavily because we have no-one who can score.
Consistent? Do you mean consistently bad or consistently good?
We're consistently bad. We aren't even good, so how can we be consistently good?

We just can’t put two halves together, listened to the first hour but had to go out so missed their goals but again we should have been 3 or 4 up by the time we did score, and again we were punished for not taking full advantage of our dominance this is happening too many times and has to be remedied.

Considering we are a newly promoted team it's been a decent enough season so far.
I can't understand the people who seem to be demanding promotion this year, and who label Robins/the players shit every time we don't win a game.

Let’s make this a sticky......

Before most games last season I thought somebody was really going to get it when I looked at their side compared to ours but it never really happened a real smashing six or seven nil, partly because Robins gets them to sit back when we should go out to destroy.

If we went up we would struggle with the current self funding route, some teams up there will be paying single players more than most of our team added together get.

Positives today:
1. We got shots on goal (I know, I know)
2. We went for it right away. We haven’t seen enough of this
3. We didn’t lose ground on 6 th place as Portsmouth lost as well
4. We concede 2 goals without a single “FFS Burge post.

Yes, knobhead. I'd rather us win 25 games in league 1 next year, and go up better prepared. If we scraped up this season we'd get a hiding every week.

I know Tim Fisher talks shite bu he did say the time to sell is at the top of the cycle rather than the bottom.
Well unless sisu throw millions at funding a Premiership promotion push then a bottom third Championship side is the top of the cycle so I'd like to see us go up as you never know, he might just be telling the truth for once.

Class above,76% possession, but still lost..

In truth i did not listen to the game today so i cannot comment to much, but whenever we play a bottom side we always seem to lose regardless if Plymouth results have improved of late,it happens all the time,so now back to Blackpool next week, here's hoping for the win,but we all know that may not be straight forward,i will be much happier when we get to 50pts,if that is considered the safety point from going down, as for playing some fantastic stuff under Robin's, are we? we can more than match anyone in this league i agree, when we can be bothered.

For me, Robin's is hit and miss and is not the messiah some on here think he is,and as for possibly making the playoff's, no chance, so most can relax on that, hopefully a mid table finish,we certainly don't want to be dragged into something we wouldn't want, only 9 points off.

Yes we are playing some fantastic stuff.
I haven't heard anyone saying Robins is the messiah but I think if people are level headed they need to realise we finished 6th in league 2 last season so expectations need to be realistic which to me is a mid table finish.
That doesn't mean Robins isn't above sensible criticism, his subs last two weeks have been poor for example and people are right to pick up on that.

I can understand peoples frustration though because although I would be happy with mid table it's clear that it doesn't take a great of improvement in certain areas to be challenging for the play offs.

Didn’t we scrape up last season?

We seem to be doing pretty well this year. Any promoted side going into Championship will find it tough-depends on recruitment when you get promoted-that helps.

I will give you Cheltenham but they even got one, but unless I have missed goals we didn’t get six or seven at Notts county.

I am talking about real hammerings goals wise not good performances like Notts county
