A while ago Alkhen posted his designs for the new Cov shirt and I really loved the Ska one.

I don’t know whether people remember? But I tweeted the great folks at FMC (who do the retro CCFC kits) If they’d consider reproducing it.

Well they did and have just tweeted out a sample kit.

Not executed very well.
The background is too prominent, it needs to be faded slightly like a shadow in the background, not the main feature as it would seem on this shirt. Also, don't like the black and white badge.

Original was more subtle - liked it. The replica is too sharp a contrast for me. Would have got the original though.

I like the black but I would lose the two dancing guys return the club badge back to full colour and where the sponsors logo normally sits replace it with this

The checks up the arms could stay too. It’s definitely a good concept though and I would get one if they got it right.

Funny they must have been time travellers.

This town gonna be a ghost town football club is being closed down.

Yep agree with most, great design poor execution. Doesn’t look like a football shirt, two characters need to be grey and more faded. A collar would also work well

Daylight robbery that website. 30 quid for replica shirts which probably cost half the price to produce. It’s a no from me.

As others have said, colour to the badge and less contrast on the Rude Boys, faded in.

I like the idea but that looks like a soiled binbag.

Flattered someone liked the original kit enough to make one!

Although I agree I was wrong, the Cov badge and admiral logos would look better in the gold and definitely think the rude boys need to be a lot less prominent , more of a subtle shadow. Initially I had imagined that sort of 80/90s silky relief printing style but that would be impossible to do I think

anyhow this is a mock up of what I recon would improve it

Certainly like this the best. The faded ska boys looks good. Would nt really fancy band names on it but the Cov badge does need to be on.
Get one made so I can wear it to Rebellion Festival in August.

The only thing I don't like is the material, most of them are polyester which I don't get on with. :(

How does he get away with copyright? ha

Hardly daylight robbery.

Most shirts between 25-30 with free delivery. Brilliant remakes of shirts impossible to get.

Considering the club sell the current shirt for £45 with delivery around a fiver, it's great value.
