Does toothpaste help with icy cars?My car had loads of ice on this morning. Used the last bit of the toothpaste. Had to iron a shirt even though I thought I'd got one. Had cornflakes.

It's a Warwick thing. you wouldn't understand.
Don’t you Grindr your brown stuff?Must be a posh way for people who have coffee machines instead of kettles

The moment I felt like I'd really moved up in the world was when I got a car with a heated front window rather than just the back. The future was finally here
They've had front ones since the 80s? What the hell
Have to say my Lexus clears the window quicker than any car I've had before mind.Yes, it was amazing! (it was in the 00's that I had it)

Have had a fair few cars since and none have had it Even a top spec Audi had the crappy blowers that point up.

That said... taking the bus today!
Blowers, AC.Is that with the blowers? Do you leave the AC option on that's built in or are you stingy?
Important factors.
As I understand it, Ford had the patent on the heated front windscreens, and were the only manufacturer to do it until recently. I think the new Vauxhall Corsa's have the heated front windscreen, but still very few cars which do. Ford must charge an arm and a leg for the tech usage rights.
Blowers, AC.
AC stays on all the time. Might explain the shocking fuel consumption I get!
Hmm, seems there's space for a skybluestalk Lexus owner's club!
I do like mine, it's bulletproof mechanically too.Best car I’ve ever owned. Big Lexus fan now.

I can confirm my 13 year old Panda does not have a heated front window.
BMW have had them for a while. I have a 2008 Mini with a heated windscreen. Believe VW group (VW/Skoda/Audi ataleast) have too - certainly available the last few years. Jaguar and Land Rover also have kept it since their split from Ford.
I have a top of the range Seat Leon, and don't have it.
Well, it's because we are talking about being effective up front.......Not sure how this has become a heated windscreen discussion!
I left Seat out because I wasn't sure. I know the other brands all have it though.
One of which leaked, I suppose. My Lada doesn't even have a heater. It just came with two hot water bottles.
